Maddy
Rhydian's face suddenly loses it happy grin and is replaced by a frown. He stares down at me
"Jana's coming"
I hear light footsteps crunching in the snow and recognise them as Chris's along with Jana's, my heart beats faster as they get closer. How the hell am I going to explain this to Chris. As they approach Rhydian moves in front of me with an arm out protectively. Chris looks angry as he sees Rhydian's display so I move out of Rhydian's grasp and walk toward Chris. I look up at him and frown.
"I am so sorry Chris"
He looks between Rhydian and myself.
"I see you have history then, why wasn't I told any of this???"
Jana steps in front of Chris and puts her hands on his shoulders.
"Chris you have to understand Maddy's position, she had to leave Rhydian, the love of her life no less because an evil scientist almost found out the secret. Now Rhydian is back to find her and she hasn't seen him in a long time"
Chris growls
"You knew about this also!!!! What a pathetic excuse for an alpha. Keeping secrets from her pack"
He spits at the ground in front of Jana. I have never seen this side of Chris and to be honest I didn't even know he had a bad side. Rhydian snarls and shoves Chris away from Jana and myself. Jana growls.
"Back off Beta, you have no authority"
Chris smirks
"What if I challenge your leadership??? Every Wolfblood has the right to challenge"
I huff and step in front of all of them to face Chris.
"This is stupid Chris, challenging Jana's leadership over me is just stupid"
He scoffs then points at me
"Maybe you should learn that not everything is about your royal ass Maddy, Not everyone wants to be your personal toy which you throw away when you find a better one. You are just the same as all tames, pathetic."
I glare at him, my eyes turning yellow.
"Well your the pathetic one who fell in love with the pathetic tame"
Chris growls loudly and before I even know what is happening a sharp sting spreads across my face. I blink and see Chris's hand falling after he slapped me. I feel the wolf coming to the surface and see that Rhydian has also turned. Chris smirks.
"Pathetic tames are all the same"
Then all hell breaks loose.
