I feel my heart stop as the words escape Maddy's lips. Pregnant? My hands start shaking and i shake my head.

"Do your parents know?"

Maddy sighs

"Yeah they do, not happy about it though"

I smile and nod

"I wouldn't expect them to be"

I swallow my fear of the unknown and my confusion to take a step towards Maddy. I brush a strand of hair behind her ear and smile letting my hand fall down towards her stomach. Even with a small touch i could feel the tiny heartbeat of a child growing. Something a normal human would not be able to detect at this stage but a Wolfblood was more capable. The heartbeat was strong and fast, i couldn't help but allow a smile to make its way on to my face. Maddy looks at my face trying to study my reaction so i give her a wide smile. This child will grow up loved and cherished, i will make sure of that. I look to Maddy and grin

"I think its a boy"

Maddy smirks

"Nah i bet ya its a girl"

"Your on"

I frown and lose my playful touch to address the elephant in the room.

"Maddy what are we going to do, every child should grow with a father or a father figure of some sort."

Maddy bites her lip and plays with her hands nervously

"Rhydian i have always loved you and that will never change not matter what but things will change with a child in the picture. I have been thinking about it now and i know what is best for her or him if you agree"

 I nod and gesture for her to continue

"I want to raise him or her as your child, maybe in the future they can find out but i think for now they need to grow up content and without questions"

I frown and nod

"Are you sure Maddy?"

She nods and wraps her arms around my neck.

"I am very sure, I love you Rhydian and i know our child is going to love you as well."
