I unfortunately do not own any of the "Seven Deadly Sins" characters, just the plot line and any original OC's that may appear.
----------------------------------------------
The idea to invite Elizabeth to the concert had started at the Christmas party. As the date drew nearer he knew that he didn't want to go alone. Ban didn't like to stand outside in bleachers. Diane and King were an item so that ruled out her. Plus King just didn't like the band's music. So logically Elizabeth was the choice.

It also had to do with the kiss. It may have been 2 months or so ago but it still felt like he had just done it. It was intimate and took all of his self control to keep himself from doing anything more. But sometimes it still floated through his head and made him loose all of his focus. God the things he wanted to do to her, to do for her.

So when he had finally called her to ask if she wanted to go he had to keep his voice as steady as possible. "Hey! Elizabeth, what's up?"

"I've been at Veronica's game for the last hour or so and I believe," her voice stopped talking but he could still hear the crowd cheering and booing in the background. Soon enough she came back on. "Yah, it's a tournament so I'll probably be here all afternoon,"

He smiled at the exasperation in her voice. The usual perfection of Elizabeth was a good thing. But it was times like this were he could see her imperfection, her human side that made her even more perfect. It wasn't a perfect science but neither were humans.

"That sounds boring," he replied picking up one of the darts they kept at the apartment and started to aim it at the dart board.

"It is whenever Veronica isn't out there. But when she is I can fully pay attention." She added and then the crowd roared in the background along with Elizabeth. "Sorry about that. So is there anything in particular you wanted to talk about?" His throat became a little scratchy but he ignored it.

"Yes, remember those tickets I was given at the Christmas party?" He asked finally throwing the dart. Bullseye! He thought as it hit the target.

"Oh yeah, have you found someone to go with yet?" She asked as booing filled the background noise. He fought the urge to flinch away from the phone.

"Actually that's what I was calling about." He started to explain, heart pounding and the anxiety causing him to pace. "I was wondering if you would like to go with me,"

He thought the line went dead for a moment but knew it hadn't because he could still hear the game going on behind her. Did I make a mistake? Should I just take that as a no? He wondered before asking "Hello? Elizabeth?"

"Oh, yes sorry, that just took me a bit by surprise," she admitted laughing nervously. "Oh course I would love to go with you!" He let go of the breath he hadn't realized he had been holding. His smile was extremely wide.

"Awesome! So I'll pick you up at your house about 6:30? I'll probably borrow Diane's car so Hawk doesn't stain anything you wear," he had preplanned this part praying that he wouldn't have to use any other one.

"Sounds great! What day is it again?" She asked, he felt himself facepalm. Why hadn't he thought of that!

"The 14th, or next Saturday," he responded walking back and forth across his couch.

"Okay great! I'll be ready by 6:30," he could almost hear the smile in her voice. Or at least he hoped that was a smile. It'd be pretty embarrassing if it wasn't.

"Awesome, so I'll see you at practice on Friday?"

"Yeah, I'll see you there," then they hung up. He felt as if he were flying, she felt as if something was finally going right. Both of them felt like this might be the start of something great.

Over the next two weeks they shared secret smiles and sat a little closer than usual. Elizabeth's singing had a whole new gorgeousness to it. Everyone seemed to notice this. Diane happened to ask one day as she drove Elizabeth home.

"So has anything good happened recently?" She asked pulling out of the gym parking lot.

"Yeah, you could say that." Elizabeth responded smiling out of the window. She saw Meliodas packing his van up with the other boys.

"What was it? If you don't mind me asking,"

"Well I got asked out," she smiled wider. Diane squeaked and almost hit the boys.

"Was it a certain short blonde with concert tickets?" She asked watching Elizabeth for reactions.

"It was," she confided smiling even wider. Diane smiled happily to herself. The plan she and King had worked out was working out absolutely perfectly. I knew this would happen if I gave Meliodas the Band tickets.

Okay so I've finally decided where this whole story is headed and I really hope you all like it. But if you guys could just comment telling me what you think I'd be so grateful. Thanks for read this far
