I unfortunately do not own any of the "Seven Deadly Sins" characters, just the plot line and any original OC's that may appear. I also do not own Hello by Adele even though the characters think they own it.

Soon enough another problem appeared. King had been rereading the poster making sure they had met all of the requirements when he realized how far away the Battle of the Bands was. "Hey guys!" He called out to them. It took a couple of minutes but soon they were all there looking expectantly at King."Okay, so why are we all here?" Ban asked still half asleep.
"The Battle of the Bands is in New Orleans," King stated showing the poster's small print. It read: first and second rounds shall take place in New Orleans, Louisiana they winners of those rounds shall receive an all expenses paid trip to the final round that will take place in Nashville, Tennessee.
"Ah man!" Diane whined as she finished reading. Elizabeth frowned and sat back her back against the couch inside of the house. Meliodas didn't seem to react, he was aloof and just read the poster over a couple of times. "Now what are we going to do? Captain?" He looked at Diane with the same aloof look.
"We'll just have to revamp Hawk and never stop driving," he stated, Diane looked eagerly from Meliodas to Elizabeth as if to confirm that this all would work out. Elizabeth looked at Meliodas and they locked eyes.
Are you serious? She asked silently. He nodded and she grinned. Diane took this as a good sign and stood up and started jumping. King watched her and soon had a bloody nose, that no one seemed to ask about. Soon enough Ban was talking about making some celebration dinner. Everyone was happy and celebrating a trip that hadn't even happened yet.
Soon enough Meliodas calmed everybody down. They talked about travel details. Who would drive down there? Probably Meliodas or Ban, Elizabeth answered. Diane whispered a grateful "Thank you," and motioned to King. Where would we park it once we got there? Probably at the hotel/motel they were staying at. What hotel/motel would they stay at? Elizabeth asked thinking about one bad experience she had, had in a motel once.
"We can look for one on the Internet after practice," Diane offered foreshadowing a little bit of girl time. Elizabeth nodded ecstatically, the plan seemed to come together more easily than any of them expected. At the end of their meeting they decided to head back to the gym and practice more.
Afterwards they all piled into the van, Elizabeth and Meliodas in the front two seats and Ban, King, and Diane all shoved into the back. Elizabeth turned to Meliodas and asked him quietly "So do you really think that this is all going to work out?" She gestured to the van and the people inside of it. He looked at them all individually. Diane's interested look, King's embarrassed face as he told a story, Ban's nonchalant posture, and Elizabeth's hopeful look. He smiled and ruffled her hair playfully.
"Of course I think that this will all work out, we have you now right?" His words made her blush but she felt thankful that he could always find the right words to make her feel better. She shook her head showing him she was alright.
When they arrived King declared that something was off. No one could see anything wrong from the outside. Once they entered however, Ban and Diane also agreed that something was off. Meliodas told everyone to stay back while he went into the band closet to make sure everything was there. They stayed close to the door but they all seemed on edge.
"Elizabeth stay near the door," Diane whispered stepping defensively in front of her. Elizabeth shook her head and didn't ask any questions. The tenseness in the room did not permit questions. They heard a creak in the direction of the closet. Everyone brought their hands up in fists and looked ready to fight. Elizabeth reached inside of her pocket and pulled out her phone ready to call 911 if needed.
Meliodas came out a second later giving everyone else the okay sign. There was an audible sigh of relief from King as they all went to grab their instruments from the closet. Elizabeth somehow hadn't really been in this room before. Mostly because she just need her voice to practice, and that when they did use the microphone they never needed to plug it into the speaker.
Now that she looked inside she noticed how big it was. They could've easily practiced in here and still have a bit of room to walk around in. It had dark blue walls and only 2 or 3 lights that left most of the room dark and scary. Even though it was big enough Elizabeth was more than glad that they did not practice here. She held the door open as the rest of the band transported their instruments from inside of the room to the outside room.
"What song do you guys want to start on this time?" She asked as she leaned on the door keeping it open for Diane. The guys just shrugged and went back to tuning the guitars. She stuck her face into the doorframe and repeated the question to Diane.
"I don't know, which one do you think we need to practice the most?" She seemed to struggle with the drum kits but when King offered his help she turned him down.
"We should probably work on Hello," Elizabeth admitted. It was a newer song that none of them had gotten perfect yet. But if they could it would be a gorgeous song to be able to perform. Diane nodded as she finished setting the drums up.
"Okay then let's start from the top!" Meliodas beamed as he started playing the notes. They had decided to make it faster by adding drums and guitar. Elizabeth ran to the microphone and counted in.
Elizabeth - bold
Hello, it's me
I was wondering if after all these years you'd like to meet
To go over everything
They say time's supposed to heal ya
But I ain't down much healingThe guitars ramped up the beat, the drums stayed steady keeping it deep, and the keyboard made it emotional. Elizabeth held the microphone with one hand because the other one was everywhere. Her voice hit each note as if it was a cure to a sickness.
Hello, can you hear me
I'm in California dreaming about who we used to beElizabeth's voice cracked with emotion but kept on. It was confident and even though Meliodas had written the song, it was as if Elizabeth were repenting from some giant sin she had committed.
That's when it happened. One minute she was singing the next she was on the ground. No one could tell if she was breathing.
I am so sorry that I haven't updated in the last couple days I've just been really busy catching up on homework I missed last week. Thankfully the weekend starts tomorrow and my Winter break starts next week!
