I unfortunately do not own any of the "Seven Deadly Sins" characters, just the plot line and any original OC's that may appear.

"Hey look at this," Diane remarked as her and King passed by a window in the strip mall. Diane read the rest of the poster before squealing excitedly. "King! You have to come look at this!" She begged pulling him back to the poster.
He read it and pulled out his phone. Taking a picture of the poster he sent it to each of the Seven Deadly Sins. Meliodas received his as he woke up in his bed. Elizabeth got hers as she started to make her breakfast. Ban eventually got his after he woke up on some random couch.
"Hey Diane is this serious!?" Elizabeth asked after calling Diane. Meliodas was on the other line but wasn't as audibly as excited.
"Yes of course it's a real poster. No why would I kid around with you?" King replied starting to get annoyed.
"Yes it says that only the top bands are getting in this year." Diane explained to Elizabeth who was freaking out on the end of the line.
"No we can still sign the band up for the preliminary round. Yeah only 1 song per round," King repeated after examining the poster once more. Diane and King circled each other repeating information to both Meliodas and Elizabeth.
"Yes we can probably practice this afternoon," King added before saying his goodbyes to Meliodas and hanging up.
"If you want me too I can grab one from the store owner," Diane offered and apparently Elizabeth accepted because moments later she went into the store and came out a couple minutes later with a poster. "Yes Elizabeth I have the poster right here. Yes I'll bring it to the next practice. Okay good bye," she finally hung up.
"So I guess there goes our evening out?" King said disappointedly. Diane nodded but took his hand as they walked back to Diane's car.
A few hours later the entire band was gathered at the gym and was discussing what they should do about the Battle of The Bands competition. They all agreed this would be a great opportunity for the band to get some exposure. But not all of them agreed they were ready to play at this big of a level yet.
"Of course we're ready!" Elizabeth argued over many other arguments that seemed to be popping up in there little group. Ban hadn't taken a side yet. He had said something about not wanting to fight for a side until he knew all the facts. Diane and King were on one side saying they needed more practice and performances before joining something like this. While Meliodas and Elizabeth retorted that they'd have enough time to get ready if they just started now.
It was fifteen minutes before Bam choose a side. He had listened to the arguments and all the points each side could make. So after those fifteen minutes he got up walked over and sat next to Meliodas.
"Yes!" Elizabeth cheered and hugged Meliodas, Diane seemed a bit disappointed they lost the argument but shrugged it off. Meliodas and Elizabeth were still hugging when King cleared his throat. "Oh, sorry,"
"Well then," Meliodas announced standing up. "Let's get to practicing!" While it wasn't a group of people cheering like in the movies it felt like it. With the first round of the Battle of The Bands coming up in only a few weeks they could already feel the pressure.
While the weeks that followed that meeting weren't perfect. King came down with the chicken pox, Elizabeth almost failed one of her midterms, and Diane got kicked out of her apartment because her roommate didn't pay the rent. They were memorable to say the least. A lot of good things did happen, Diane and the boys decided they would all rent a house on campus, because they were in collage after all. Elizabeth started writing new songs as if her brain wouldn't stop it really was weird, almost a new song every week!
The band would practice everywhere and anywhere they could. Drumming out beats in the car, harmonizing at restaurants, playing guitar hero at a favorite pizza place. This left almost no time for anything else, but somehow they found time. Elizabeth and Meliodas went on more and more dates, before he officially asked her to be his girlfriend. Diane and King seemed to be falling more and more in love with each passing day.
Nothing was as boring as it was a couple months back before the band. This thought constantly ran through Elizabeth's head. Now she had friends she couldn't live without and someone she loved with all of her heart. Although she didn't yet admit this love it was obvious it was there.
"I'm so exhausted," Elizabeth finally admitted one day after one of the practices. She was draped a crossed the couch in the rented house. Diane laughed at her friend. Elizabeth usually had this prestigious air to her, but now she was a hot mess on a rundown couch.
"Why don't you just stay here tonight?" Diane asked taking a drink of the coffee that someone had made probably days ago. This woke Elizabeth back up as she shot up from the couch and wiped under her eyes. Which they had learned weeks ago was a nervous habit that told the others when she was tired.
"No, no I couldn't. Besides my father is expecting me home for a family dinner we have each week." Elizabeth nervously stood up and started to gather her things together. It was quite funny actually. Instead of grabbing her shoes she grabbed Diane's, she grabbed Ban's coat instead of her own, and then almost put her hand in Diane's coffee.
"Okay, you are going to stay with us and you are going to like it," Ban decided after taking his coat back. Elizabeth nodded tiredly, she stopped acting duly awake and sat back down on the couch. Soon afterwards she fell asleep, everyone tip toed around her and Meliodas covered her with a blanket. Then kissed her goodnight.
Okay so I decided yesterday that my chapters were a little too short and this is my attempt to make them longer. If you like the longer chapters please leave a comment, or vote for the story. And thank you for reading this far it means a bunch to me!!
