The next month was absolutely insane and I spent every spare moment I had with Zayn, but it was definitely not enough. We were given one day off before we would embark upon tour, starting in New York and finished the American leg before we moved on to Europe and other countries. Zayn and I had been together for exactly one month but we needed some time together just to rekindle the spark that has started to fizzle because of how little time we’ve had together.
I planned something special, hoping that fans wouldn’t follow us. Zayn had told me that he never really got to experience any of the places he visited on tour so I had gotten a horse drawn carriage to drive us around all day to do all of the touristy things. I didn’t even allow Zayn enough time to say anything, too excited about the day we had ahead of us to stop for our normal hellos. I pulled him into the carriage, bouncing in my seat.
“Hello to you too.” Zayn laughed, kissing me once we had finally sat down.
“Sorry, hi! I’m just excited.” I giggled, grabbing his arm and I swayed when the carriage lurched forward. “I’m hoping we get to do this in Japan!” I giggled.
“Me too. You know we have to be back by early afternoon. The boys and I are recording some other bits for our music video.”
“Yea I know, we’re meeting up with them after lunch.” I giggled, “We’re having a speed date.” I dragged him out of the carriage and up the Statue of Liberty, taking quick pictures before pulling him back to the carriage to go on a rid through Time Square and taking even more cheesy pictures. We were recognized but got out quickly. Our next stop was a practice of the Lion King on Broadway where we got a few hours of just sitting and talking. I then dragged him back to the carriage where we ate as we drove through Central Park, stopping once we reached where we were meeting the boys.
“Best speed date ever.” Zayn whispered, kissing my forehead. He hopped out and joined the boys while I drove off to meet up with the girls to get ready for an interview before our first concert of the tour.
“Now I just need a girl.” Becs pouted, fixing her lipstick as we waited for our cue to go on stage.
“Aw we will find you one.” I laughed, wrapping my arm around her waist and pulling her out on cue.
“WELCOME MURDERED DOLLIE!” the host yelled, standing up to greet us with a hug. We all arranged ourselves on the couch, mentally preparing ourselves for our performance later.
“So we’ve gotten recent news that two of you have found special someones.”
“Yeah, I’m dating Liam Payne-“
“And I’m dating Zayn Malik from One Direction.” I finished.
“AND I’M DATING NIALL HORAN, HE’S MY BEARD!” Becs shouted, causing everyone to laugh and cheer. “No really I’m single. Someone find me a pretty girl.”
“I believe our sound tech, Sara, is single.” Brad, the host said, pointing out a short girl with black choppy hair who froze and glanced up blushing. “How about some speed dating!”
I laughed and pushed Becs towards the girl. “Sara, if you could be any animal what would you be and why?”
“A unicorn because I’m awesome like one.” Sara giggled.
“What is your favorite song?” Hayley asked
“The Pretender…” She said.
“And here is Becs’ number…call her.” I laughed, handing her a slip where I had scrawled down her number. Becs rolled her eye but did the call me sign at the girl before going off to join us on stage where we would be preforming our most recent single. I strapped on my guitar and stood next to my mic with my eyes closed.
