"Okay we're here" my dad said stopping the car and getting out
"You ready ?" He said opening my car door and helping me out
I looked at him smirked "Yes" He closed the car door "Are you sure ? because we can always turn around and go to a hotel like you suggested" He said being playful
"Yes daddy I'm sure" I said laughing
"Okay" He said laughing. He walked me and Jamarcus to the bus stop we sat and waited for the bus driver to pull up. My dad and Jamarcus had a conversation about face timing each other ever chance they get, I looked to the corner of my eye and seen a guy who looks just like James but It can't be James because James didn't even text my number yet so It couldn't be him.
"Leah you hear this boy ?" My dad asked laughing
"Yeah" I said fake laughing and acting like I know the conversation
"No you didn't you not even listening to me you little liar" He said getting in his feelings
"Well excuse me father" I said laughing
"Mommy I'm hungry" Jamarcus said putting his head on my arm
"We gonna eat baby just not now can you wait ?" I asked using my other had to play with his hair
"Yes" He said looking at me
"Leah ?" James asked pointing at me and sitting down next to me
"James ?" I asked looking confused
"I knew it was you" He said smiling
"I knew I saw you what are you doing here ?" I asked smiling
"Oh I'm just visiting family members for the holidays I'm scared of heights so I just decided to take the bus"He said sounding a little bit happy "what are you doing here ?" He asked smiling
"Oh um the same I gotta see family you know the same thing almost everybody does for the holidays" I said lying through my teeth
"Oh really where you headed ?" He asked
"Mar..." I sat and looked at him "You know what I'm not being rude or anything but I don't trust telling you where I'm going" I said looking at him with a serious face
"Oh well I'm not a spy or anything" he said laughing and looking through his bag
"Hmm" I said looking at him and folding my legs and sitting back
He pulled out a bag of chips "Can I get some ?" Jamarcus asked
"Oh I didn't even see you sitting there little dude" He said laughing "Is it ok if I give him some ?" He asked me
"Uh I don't know" I said looking as Jamarcus
"Please mommy" He begged
"Okay but just a little bit " I said
"Yes" He said getting excited and reaching out his hand
"So are you going to tell me where your going ?" James asked pouring the chips in Jamarcus hands
"No James sorry" I said putting my hair behind my ear
"I understand I don't want to make it seem like I'm stalking you or anything so I'll leave you be" He said getting awkward
"James stop talking" I said looking at him and laughing
"Ok" He said laughing
I turned my head and watched a couple walk pass I watched them as they held hands and laughed I looked down and remember me and Michael being like that. I honestly don't know what happened to Michael when I found out I was pregnant and told him he was so happy he wouldn't leave me alone he would always text me and ask me if I needed anything or if I felt him kick yet I miss that so much. I miss the old relationship if only he would change his ways and prove to me that he is actually going to change and love me instead of beat me then maybe just maybe we can be together again. I wonder how he would react when he found out I'm pregnant again, he probably would claim the baby isn't his and show no love or affection . I wonder if his brother told him
