I slept in Faye and Tianna's tent that night and it was so comfortable and quiet, it was odd how I had to sleep stood up though, but if the forces aren't the same, I guess it makes some sort of sense.... Fairies don't sleep, as Faye told me, but they were still so considerate of my being there. I woke up in the morning straight away, I didn't feel like going back to sleep. I felt refreshed. I walked out of my tent compartment and walked down the corridor, yes, a tent with a corridor. It was mad.
"Morning, Natasha!" Faye greeted me, she ran up to me and held me in her little arms. I hugged her back.
"Morning Faye, Tianna." I nodded in Tianna's direction and giggled as Faye let go and hovered up to her mothers height.
"Faye, no flying in the tent!" Tianna scolded her, Faye dropped to the floor looking dissapointed.
"I just thought we should tell Natasha." Faye said innocently.
"Tell Natasha what?" I asked.
"You want to see Katie, don't you?" Tianna asked me.
"Yes, of course I do." I thought it was a stupid question.
"To get past the cloud barrier, to the Royal Palace, you need to undergo a task." Tianna explained sitting down on a chair and pointing to another chair, indicating for me to do the same.
"A task?"
"Yes, a task." Faye squealed running around the room with pure excitement.
"You have to go through the other forest and to the other meadow, there you will see my sister, she will give you a heart crystal, bring the heart crystal to me and I will help you travel through the cloud barrier, there you will see Katie." Tianna grinned.
"The other forest?" I'll be honest, I was still even more confused, I killed myself and woke up in a completely new place, where I have to go through the other forest to get to the other meadow, to get a heart crystal so I can see my friend. With fairies.
"I see it is hard for you to figure out., most people think this is a dream, a dream after death in the deep sleep that they think death is, but they're wrong. This is all real, and you are still alive."
"Do I leave now?" I asked, realising how much I want my friend back.
"I cherish your enthusiasm, Faye will go with you, she knows the forest better. Be warned, the forest is full of trecherous beings, they will manipulate, harm and even try to end your afterlife. Be careful and make haste." Tianna waved me and Faye off.
Faye was very excited, very excited.
"This will be so fun, so so so so so so fun!" Faye giggled, travelling with a mix of a hover and a run.
"How dangerous is it?" I asked
"As long as you're careful, you'll be fine. Pinky promise!" We did.
The forest was extremely dark and foreboding, with every step I shivered and I knew something was watching me wherever I turned.
"It's cold." I remarked, even Faye seemed to have calmed down.
"It's a nice chill...."
"Hhmm....."
We walked in silence after that, I didn't even realise we were holding hands. We made no sound as we walked, there were no leaves that crunched or twigs that snapped, we just had to walk. Faye's wings were the only light source we had,
"So..." I tried to break the silence.
"Yeah..." I looked down at Faye and her eye's were fixed open, her hands were shaking in mine and her breaths were slow and heavy.
