Knowing that he was going to be there was heart warming after not seeing him for a year it was difficult to comprehend what my big brother was going to be like. Had he change? Did he remember what I looked like? I knew that he wouldn't of forgotten as he was the perfect brother. Always there for me and never left me. Until he ran away but I wanted to forget that happened and just imagine that he was visiting family. I know that is denial but sometimes that is what happens when the most important person in your life disappears like dust.

Mother didn't take us to the train she made Reg take me who was upset of having to go with his little sister which supposedly made him automatically uncool with all the other slytherins. I didn't care though as he had left me all summer to be by myself so he could go and prepare for being the dark lords follower. I knew that was what he was doing especially since he decided that he wanted to be part of an arranged marriage which in my opinion is the biggest piece of rubbish ever. Who wants to marry a bloke they have never met and only wants them for their money anyway.

Arriving at the platform was terrible I was left by myself to find a carriage and the only one without any weirdos in was one with a girl who looked terrified at being surrounded by all of these people. I didn't mind as much as I knew that they were all friendly at least until they knew I was a Black. Man up Cassie I thought before I opened up the compartment and enter. "May I sit here?" I asked, damn the Black politeness that was drilled into my head even before I could talk. "Sure, I'm Amanda Churchill" She answered with a smile. I smirked back giving her the famous black grin, "I'm Cassie Black, its nice to meet you." I replied.

I knew that the girl I met that morning was going to be the greatest friend I had ever had, she would never leave my side even when I didn't know what to do and got us in trouble.  I hoped that she wouldn't shy way at the surname of Black but she didn't even flinched which I found amazing as even I shuddered at the name Black and I was one!

Amanda and myself were just getting settled for a long journey when I heard some people talking outside and the voice sounded familiar. I jumped out of my seat it was my big brother Sirius black. I was able to see him at last and being in this close proximity was giving me butterflies. My thoughts were rushing so fast that I didn't even see Amanda standing in front of my face and wave slightly to get my attention.

"Are you okay?" She asked but it just turned into a rushed mess inside my head. I was panicking now and I knew that I needed to get to him but I was frozen in my seat. I must have made some sort of indication towards the door as Amanda quietly stood up and open the compartment door and stuck her head out. "Excuse me," She said loudly "My friend seems to be having some sort of panic attack." Four boys appeared a the door and as soon as Sirius made eye contact with me he rushed to my side wrapping his arms around me as I sobbed into his shirt. "Padfoot?" A tall looking guy said he had jet black hair I swear we had met before but I couldn't remember. "Guys," My brother stuttered,"This is Cassie my little sister." They all looked shocked but they recovered quickly as he stood up and spoke loudly "I've got to go Cassie" and he left so swiftly I was sure that the dust hadn't finished. My big brother had not just broken my heart one but twice and he had twisted the knife so deep know I was sure that it would never heal.

My first friend Amanda stood next to me looking confused and she suddenly hugged me and let me cry onto her. "It'll be okay Cas," She spoke softly to me keeping her voice light as if to keep the conversation towards other matters.

After a while darkness was starting to draw near outside giving the indication that we were fast approaching Hogwarts. It caused a smile to draw across both of out faces as we spoke about the houses we wanted to get into. She wanted to be in Gryffindor like her father and mother. Me I wasn't sure on the one hand Gryffindor was the place to be for me but maybe Slytherin was better due my family being there.

Wearing out brand new robes I knew what I was going to do. I was going to gain my own reputation not by being Sirius Black's little sister by being me and to do that I needed a partner in Crime which by default Amanda became that.
