Nico and Will had finally broken up. Leo knew that he should be helping his friend mourn the end of his first relationship, but come on, he loved the kid. Calypso had left right after they had arrived back at camp due to needing to be with Aphrodite, part of her being able to leave the island made her become Aphrodite's permanent servant. Leo had no idea about this when he rescued her and you know, spent months trying to find her, but he's not bitter about it or anything. Leo was walking through camp when he saw Nico leaving against a tree shading his beautifully porcelain skin from the harsh summer sun. "Hey Nico!" Leo called to him. "Hello Leo" Nico's voice was elusive and curious. "Do ya mind helping me carry some boxes to my cabin?" Leo asked him gesturing towards the nearby Big House. "Sure" Nico put his sword back in the sheath he usually kept it in. He wasn't wearing his usual aviator jacket which was odd. His arms were even paler than his face. Leo led him insider the old building and down to the old store room where he kept boxes upon boxes of supplies for whatever he was building at the time. Right now it was a companion for Festus, his dragon. Realizing his love for Nico made him feel lonely and he didn't want Festus to feel the same ache in his clockwork heart. Leo handed Nico two boxes to carry and picked up two himself as well as Festus's blue prints which he would ask Annabeth to help him with to make this design more feminine, as Festus's companion would be female. They walked the 10 yards to Cabin 9 where Leo stayed alone because all his siblings prefer Camp Jupiter but Leo was never comfortable there even though his best friends were there. "Thanks" Leo said looking into Nico's dark chocolate eyes wishing desperately to kiss him and run his fingers through his deathly black hair. Nico nodded. "Anything you need" He said and flashed Leo one of his rare smiles. Leo thought it sad that he was only 15 and it already being rare for him to be happy or to show any affection but he was glad to be the target of it.
