Leo saw Nico drop to the ground and he knew something was wrong. He rushed over and saw blood caking on his shirt. "Someone get a medic!" Chiron yelled. Leo lifted Nico's shirt to reveal a 4 inch gash in his ribs. "The shadow traveling pushed him over the edge" Leo said softly. Two people from the Apollo cabin put Nico's limp body on a stretcher and walked him to the infirmary. Leo ran after them. "Heart rate is dropping" someone yelled. It was Will. They were finally able to get Nico's heart up to where it should be. They wrapped his torso but Nico needed blood. Badly. "What type?" Leo asked. "O negative. No one else in the infirmary has it" Will said. "I do" Leo told him. "Great. We can do a blood transfusion" Will said. Leo sat down in the chair next to Leo's bed. Will put a needle connected by a thin tube and put the other needle into Leo's arm, then raised his arm to a 30 degree angle. Will left them alone in a small white room. Leo brushed Nico's long black bangs away from his cold, pale forehead. "Don't die on me di Angelo" Leo kissed his head, then laid down next to Nico's hand.
