Chapter 12: Crap

  When Leo got back with Chiron, Nico was nowhere to be found. "Did Nico say where Luka is?" Chiron asked. "Kansas City" Leo told him. He had seen the huge Welcome to Kansas City population ~~~125~~ sign. The population was mostly scratched out. "We have to find him. Luka is taking all the big three kids!" Leo urged. "Contact him" Chiron said. Leo pulled out a galleon and trekked to the spring. "Nico!" Leo yelled at him. "Leo. Drop it. I don't want you to get hurt" Nico warned. Leo tried to protest but Nico wouldn't listen. "Leo don't make me do something I will regret" Nico stared at Leo with stone cold eyes. "Nico. Come back. PLease! Hazel will be fine for a few more hours" Leo would say anything to get Nico back. "Fine. I'll come back" Nico agreed then the message ended. Leo heard a thump behind him. "Thankyou" Leo whispered kissing his forehead. "Yeha. You're welcome" Nico stood up shakily. "Come on" Leo grabbed his hand. Nico's hand shook as they walked. "Nico! Thank Zeus you're here. We found out that Luka has everyone stationed in different places. They are far enough away that we could snap them out of their trances and get them here before Luka could regain the connection. We would just need you to get us there, Nico" Chiron told him. "He couldn't shadow travel that much!" Leo argued. "If it's our only option, I'll be fine" Nico agreed. "Leo we need you to deactivate ALL the bronze dragons. They seem to be radiating Delgato's power" Nico looked to his boyfriend. "Even Festus?" He asked. Nico nodded sadly. Leo whistled and there his pet was. He took a card out of his belt. He stuck it in a small slit in Festus's neck. "See ya later buddy" and then the jewels of his eyes went dim. "Come on Leo" Nico grabbed his hand and concentrated.
