Avery POV

Another day in school where i have to be tormented by seeing Ray and his new girl Nikki. Ugh, just seeing the two of them makes me so angry that i just want to rip someone's throat out! But, i can't make a scene in school so i'll just have to ignore all of my negative feelings. I walked towards my locker as soon as the bell rang to leave class. As soon as i reached my locker Amber ran up to me with a stack of papers in her hand.

"Hey Avery! Here take one, Daniel wants everyone to come!" she said quickly handed it to me and ran off. She has no shame in using her vamp speed during school hours. WOW. i shook my head and locked at the paper and read the line the filled the headline in bold letters.

Daniel's Birthday Bash

Are You kidding me? This Devil is having a party? And he's inviting everyone? This doesn't sound right... i quickly gathered my stuff closed my locker and went to the yard outside to find Layla. I wanted to see if she had heard about this too. I opened the door leading to outside and the door hit someone.

"OW." i heard a familiar male voice say. Omg, no not him... "hey, um I'm sorry ray" i said awkwardly. He looked down at me "oh, its okay Ave. Long time no see, huh?" he chuckled lightly while his eyes turned orange. "yeah, haven't talked in a long time" i said dryly. i don't like this stupid small talk that he's trying to make here.... its awkward! 0.o ... "yup" he said i saw his attention move over to the paper in my hand. "you going to Daniel's Party too?" he asked. i looked at the paper again and said "Oh yeah, I'm sure i will... You going?" he looked off and said " yea um me and the boys will be there. so i'll see you friday?" he said and walked behind me. i was still looking forward "yea se-" i turned around and he was gone. i rolled my eyes ' stupid teleportation '

i continued walking all the way over to Layla who was walking quickly my way. "hey i gotta talk to y-" i sniffed the air "layla whats that smell?" i turned to her who was still walking away to go back into the school "Blood. you better keep walking because i don't know who is bleeding like that and I'm about to snap if i don't stop smelling it" i quickly got back inside the school with layla "were was it coming from?!" "do you think i know avery?! all i knew is that i had to get out of the area.... anyways what did you need to tell me?" she asked. i handed the paperto her she read it and looked at me " you've got to be kidding me!" "thats what i said! the psycho wants to throw a party, can you believe it?!" she shook her head " no, but we are definitely going to this party. it may be a trap but we have to see what he's up too." she said and handed the paper back. "yeah and one other minor detail" i said shyly. "yea? what is it?" "well the boys will be there with their girls" she rolled her eyes and walked off "WHY?!?!?!?!?!?!!?!?!"
