Chapter 4

Rachael POV

I know i don't say much Not that many POV's but i don't have much to say i mean...im a vampire....end of story thats basically is the end of my story no moving on from there. But if you must know whats going on... I walked into my 2nd period class which we had a sub for...the girls weren't with me so i went to go sit in the back of the class when i was walking back there i saw Amber. Amber? wait wha...??? when did she get here? I haven't seen her....for a while i don't even remember last time i saw her! After the whole Daniel incident i never heard about her again...well she kind of went M.I.A. 

"amber?" i said as i sat down next to her.

" oh hey Rachael didn't know you still went here.." she said kind of upset

"yeah! well i wish i wasn't my whole life is like hell right now." i said trailing off.

"is it about their mates?"

"what?" i said confused 

"the boys...their mates. you know... is that bothering you? she asked

"oh... um i guess." i don't really know how to feel about it i just felt like me and prince wasn't 'serious' but i can't help but feel a little jealous 

"you know...after you have been a vampire for a while you get assigned mates?"

"so your saying that me and the girls will have assigned mates also?"

"well, eventually yes. not now though since your still in the early vampire stages"

"so you have an assigned mate?"

"yes, Roc was mine. But once whoever assigns the mates found out i worked with a werewolf...well.. my mate was changed and well now I'm disowned as a vampire or whatever...they wanna call me a hybrid because of what i did." she said folding her arms and rolling her eyes 

"hybrid?" i said not knowing what that means really.

"Yea, its a cross breed like for example in this situation its vampire and werewolf...Let's just say that the hybrids are the middle man they aren't assigned to a side like vampires and werewolves."

" so wait..." i said processing this. "you can become a hybrid?"

"yes, but it may also not work thats why it isn't meant to happen."

"thats why it was so mandatory to stop Lilly from becoming a hybrid..."

"yes, she could of died especially with her being a 'newborn' at the time."

i thought for a second "theres no hybrids in this school? i never heard of us confronting any this is the first time I'm hearing about them"

"well, hybrids are really rare but dangerous. They over power vampires and werewolves."

"so why would daniel try to change lilly knowing that she was gonna become something that would over power him?"

"i still don't know Rachael.... that kid is crazy" she laughed

"yeah he is has a obsession he needs to get over" i laughed along with her 

"a cute, crazy boy." she laughed and her eyes changed to pink.

"you like him huh?"

"yea, very much" she responded quickly

"damn, ok no hesitation i see" i laughed

"sorry its just the truth but he never felt the same about me." she said and looked down the bell rang i had to get to my next class

"hey i'll talk to you later ok?" i said getting up and gathering my things 

" yea, okay bye.." she said and i walked off

Amber's POV

Rachael knows so little on everything supernatural thats been going on in her life. She couldn't even tell a who was a hybrid in this school. She couldn't even tell if she was talking to one. i smiled to myself and proceeded to walk to my next class.
