Chapter 8

Recap:

"Im not going do anything to her, i promise" he held his arms up in defense then he pointed at Rachael "but she looks like she's ready to rip somebody's head off if she doesn't feed"

"Yeah, um i need to get out of here." rachael said and walked out shielding her eyes.

Rachael POV

Being in that crowded house full of humans was driving me crazy i couldn't think straight all i feel is the need to rip in to someone's throat. I hated the feeling I've never fed off of human straight from the neck before and I'm a little scared to start now. My gums were hurting so much i could just feel my fangs ready to come out and i was trying to not let that happen. I was NOT trying to get caught tonight...but on the other hand i was REALLY hungry.

"So, you going to follow me to the woods and get maybe a bunny to eat or a deer?" Daniel joked.

"Don't talk to me right now. I don't want to hear your voice." i said holding my head. it was POUNDING i never felt this much pain before.

"Ah, your starving huh" he laughed

"You find amusement in this?!" i said to him. My eyes turned the darkest shade of Red.

"Hm, kind of... but you don't want animal blood do you?" He asked eyeing me.

"No shit sherlock" i said with a straight face

"So let's get you a human." he smiled and walked off into a direction where a guy was by himself drinking a beer.

"Wait!" i semi-yelled at him. He turned around "What?! Aren't you hungry? Im Getting you food!" he said a walked back in my direction

"Yes... i do but I'm not going to feed if I'm going to harm a human." i said 

"This is your nature Rachael. You live off of this stuff. Biting humans is part of the deal of being a vampire." he said sternly. "Now, i don't want you to not eat this guy then starve more and turn my party into a bloodbath because you wanted to wait longer to the point where you wouldn't be able to control it."

I thought about it. 'Its just one person... all i have to do is eat and dispose of the body. Pretty easy...' i began walking towards the person. He just seemed drunk so this shouldn't be hard. i approached him and hesitated for a second 'Was I really going to do this?' that thought was erased from my mind when  Daniel went behind the guy and cut his neck open with a pocket knife he had. 

All I saw was 

Blood.

All I wanted was

Blood.

All I cared about was 

Blood.

My fangs shot out and smashed my fangs in the guys neck and drank...and drank...and drank... It tasted so much better than blood bags that weren't fresh. I sucked a lot of blood and i knew this guy wasn't living. Then i felt my body being pulled from the lifeless person. My vision become clear and i saw that Daniel was no longer here and i was left with guy on the ground. I just stared at it. I killed someone. I really killed him. He's dead because of me. I turned around to see the person that pulled me off of the guy.

"I thought we told you girls to keep low profile's" Princeton glared at me with his Dark Read eyes.

"Jacob? " i stared at him in disbelief  "what are you doing here?!" 

"I could ask you the same thing! You see all this blood?!" he said pointing at the mess. I was embarrassed of this. This isn't me... My eyes turned Orange. "All the vampires in the house can smell it! It has all of them in a frenzy!" he said very angry.

"Jake, I'm sorry i didn't mean to do this i was just so hungry... I lost control." i said sadly.

Jacob looked so stressed about the situation... i don't know why though... it has nothing to do with him. " Well, drag the body away and burn it. We need to get this cleaned up. You know vamps shouldn't be around this much blood."

"Um..oh alright" i said went to go search around the outside of the house if i could find a lighter from the people smoking outside and guess what? I found one :) i then dragged the body farther away from the house into a nearby parking lot and lit the lighter on the body. i watched it slowly go up in flames. i quickly Vamp Ran back to where i left the crime scene. Princeton was still waiting for me there surprisingly. 

"So...um what now?" i asked him.

"Let's get you cleaned up." He said and took me around the back of Daniel's house unseen. And snuck me upstairs up a hidden staircase and then into the bathroom. He locked it and started trying to help me wash off my blood stained mouth and chin. I got a lot of it on my shirt but what was going to do about that?

"You don't need to do this Jacob. You don't have to help me." i told him.

"Yeah, but what if i want too help you because your somewhat my responsibility?" he said back

"Your responsibility? Jacob, I'm not your responsibility you can le-" i started to say but he stopped me

"I turned you. Your my responsibility while your still a newborn so don't argue with me that i don't need to be responsible for you." He said and started cleaning up the blood tissues. "What you did tonight was reckless for a vampire."

"Reckless? no it wasn't." i said and he eyed me. "Fine it was a bit reckless but i didn't know any better! I've never bit someone in straight from their neck before i just couldn't stop."

Princeton was quiet for a while but then said "I know that feeling...i haven't bitten someone from their neck in a long time but i know i could never go back to that. It turned me into a monster i couldn't stop. All i thought of was blood Day/Night. Then when i couldn't get blood it drove me crazy. Me and the boys didn't want that kind of life for you girls thats why we had you start of on blood bags and sometimes hunting for animal's."

"Well, thanks for looking our for us.." i said "Thanks for helping me tonight... I really needed it."

"I know you did...but your welcome Rachael" he said took off his jacket and handed it to me. "Here. Cover your blood stains. I'll get the jacket back another day."

"Jacob, you don't have too." i said 

"You need it more than i do." he said opened the bathroom door. "I gotta get back to the guys...we will talk again... I'll always be there when you need me Rachael" 

And with that not even letting me get my last sentence out he went back downstairs and disappeared into the crowd of Humans and Supernaturals.

"I Love You Jacob" i whispered
