Chapter 2 - Fangirl Extreme

Alicia's POV

We arrive at the airport, Liene is pretty calm, although she's probably freaking out in her head. It's 10am. Lena will be here in a short amount of time. 10 minutes or so. We walk around the airport. "Is this seriously happening to us?" I say to Liene. "Yep!" 2 familiar figures saunter over to us. It's Christie and Sophie. We all jump up and down, and hug together! We're all united. The 4 people crazy crew.  For a moment, we think about Lina, our German friend. She can't make it, family stuff happened last minute. I turn to the girls, "Can I say Hi to Lena first? Cause it WAS me who won the competition." Christie and Sophie sigh in unison. "OK." they all say.

 

I see Lena walking towards us, but the others are too busy talking. I run towards her, and she starts laughing, and opens her arms. I fall into her arms, and I hug her hard.  She's not much taller than me. Sophie notices next and she runs, which causes the others to spring into action. We end up in a group hug, laughing. Lena smiles at us all, "So is this the crazy bunch I'm putting up with for a week then?" Christie nods and says "Aye it is!" Lena tilts her head to the side. "What?..." I nudge Christie. "Scottish slang isn't going to help much right now. English isn't Lena's first language as it is, and you're trying to talk to her in fluent Scots. Not going to work, my friend." Lena laughs. "True."

 

Liene's POV

This is what we used to talk about in our group chat. That one day, we'd all be fortunate enough to meet each other, and Lena. We were just in a fantasy though. We didn't expect it to actually happen. I look to Alicia. "Is this real?.." She's getting a piggyback from Lena. A man is transporting Lena's luggage directly to her house.  Alicia points frantically to a man. "Take a picture of us all." She chucks her phone at him hastily. He catches it luckily. I'm small so I go into the front of it, while Christie and Sophie go at either side of Lena. Alicia's the tallest, and she cocks her head , resting it on Lena's shoulder. He takes the picture, and Alicia immediately changes it to her profile picture. It's perfect!
