Sunny's POV

About thirty minutes later, me and Anderson pulled up to the medium-sized business building. I unbuckled my seatbelt, grabbed my bag from in-between my legs on the floor and got out with Anderson following in pursuit.

We walked up to the building and I pulled my badge out once we got to the glass double doors and swiped it across the scanner and we headed inside. As soon as we got inside Anderson went all CEO on me.

"Alright, I'm gonna need those advertisement sample files on my desk by lunch Sunny." He ordered as we walked through the main floor and to the receptionist desk to sign in.

"Sir yes sir!" I saluted with a nod. When reached the desk there was a new receptionist behind the desk. She was a pretty brunette with big chocolate eyes, a nice pair of boobs if I might say and her purple blouse  complemented her mocha skin tone very well.

"Hello, signing in?" She asked with a friendly smile. Eyes locked on me.

"Yes." Me and Anderson said simultaneously. We pulled out our badges and placed them in her outstretched hands. She took them and began typing something on the computer.

"Hey, where's Priscilla? She hasn't been here for a week and I'm worried?" Anderson asked as I pulled out some cupcake lip balm and applied to my lips. But before I can respond, newbie did.

"Oh you didn't hear?" She chimed in and handed us back our badges. When she gave Anderson his badge her eyes sparkled with interest and she flipped some of her hair back. I narrowed my eyes at her.

"No I didn't. What happened?" Anderson asked clearly oblivious to her flirting attempt.

"She had her baby!" She respond as she brought both her elbows on her desk and purposely squishing her breast together as she leaned forward slightly which he took notice of. I bit the inside of my cheek to contain my anger. I'm seriously about to snap.

"Oh. My. God! Really!? Sunny she had her baby!" He said to me, finally acknowledging my presence.

"Oh boy," I said with saracasm oozing out of my mouth. "We should send her some balloons."

"Do you want me to drop them for you? Here, here is my number -" she said as she began scribbling her number down on the back of a business card.

That's it.

"THAT WONT BE NECESSARY!" I shouted earning a few passing people to stop and stare. "Now, I have had it with the pointless flirting attempts because sweetie I'm sorry but he's GAY!! And married!" I added while displaying my unique wedding band. Her face instantly paled.

That's right bitch. Nobody messes with my man.

"I-I...d'didn't...oh my god I'm so sorry!" She pleaded.

"Yeah I bet. Have a lovely day.." I trailed off glancing at her name tame tag.

She moved her hair out of the way frantically. "Carmen, Carmen Jones."

"Carmen." I finished with a fake smile. I pulled my bag over my shoulder and walked away but not before I heard him mumble a quick 'excuse him' to her.

I made my way through the passing people towards the elevator. When I reached it the elevator I pressed the button frantically as I rushed it to open.

"Sunny!" Anderson called out to me. 'Shit come on' I  mumbled to myself. Just as Anderson got closer a elevator beside me opened up and I bolted inside immediately going for the close door button. But, I was too late. Anderson slid in just at the last moment.
