The Hunt

Last night was amazing. I forgot how good it truly feels to be alive. She made me feel like I was in heaven. I've never lasted that long before, hours man! She was just taking it and taking it. There a no stopping us from loving on each other. There was this one moment where she was...sorry I'm getting off track here.
"Good morning love." She whispered to me. I opened my eyes and looked down at her, to see her laying in my chest. "Good morning, what you doing there?" I asked her. "I'm listening to your heart beat." She replied. I'll be honest, that doesn't sound all that romantic to me but it was comforting because she was doing it. "You hungry?" I asked her. "Not really, still tired from last night you animal." She said jokingly. "Well I'm gonna go make me some breakfast, I'll make you some in case you change your mind." I told her.
So I got up and walked to the kitchen to cook. I saw myself in a passing mirror and I was still completely naked. It didn't bother me much, until I thought about getting burned by grease or oil. I just grabbed my robe off the chair in the hallway and wrapped it around me. Everything was all fine and dandy until I heard Rosalin scream. I ran back in the room as fast lightning.
"Rosalin what's wrong?" I asked her in my over protective panicking tone. "Look at this." She said. She removed the blanket from herself and showed me her naked body. I was totally flabbergasted. There was a small ball off light shining in her stomach. And you could also see very small trickles off lightning moving around the rest of her body. I have to admit, it was kind of hot. It was hot like Mystique from X-men when she's all blue and naked hot.
I looked at her in amazement. "Did I impregnate you with lightning or did I give you powers also?" I asked her. She gave me this frightened stare. "Alright, don't look at me like that, I'll see what it is." I told her. I held my hand out to see if this electricity would react with me, and it did for a nanosecond. Then it just started jolting around inside her body. This went on for a good 10 minutes.
"Jacob, I'm scared. Who knows what it can do. I'm gonna stay home. You should go to work already before you're late." She told me. I looked at her and laughed. Doesn't she know that I can't do that. I just died a couple days ago I thought to myself. "I died, remember sweetie." I said sarcastically.
Now her response to what I said shocked me. I have friends and family who I love. And she didn't tell me until now. I was heartbroken dude!
"Sweetie, no one knows that you died. We didn't have the money for a funeral." She told me sadly. I looked at her with these sad puppy eyes. "You didn't tell my own family that I died?" I asked. Before she could answer I walked out the house to go to work.
Oh yes I know,I know it was rude to not let her explain herself and I know I left my house with only my robe on. It didn't bother me because I'm not one of those creepy pedophiles or perverts that like to flash others randomly. I just walked to a store to take some clothes like I was a criminal, but luckily I left my wallet in my robe so I bought them. Like a good normal citizen.
Now you guys won't believe me when I tell you what my job is. I'm a cop. Yes, that's right I said. I'm a low down dirty cop. There's not much to do in this town, well there is but I don't like any of it. So I chose to do this, nothing better to do. I'm a lone ranger,I don't like to have partners because they are a lot of responsibility. Plus they usually give us rookies that we have to train and that just sucks!
So I walked into the office and immediately I got called right back out because of a robbery. Everyone knows not to rob a place in this town because all the owners carry guns. They will shoot the thief and not even call the ambulance after! That's crazy right? But yeah that's how this town rolls!
So as I was walking back out to head to the site of the robbery, it dawned on me that I didn't have my car. So stupid. I wasn't thinking straight after my girl told me that no one knew I died. My mind was all distressed and distracted so I just jumped up and flew to the site. Moving at speed of lightning of course. When I landed,I was outside a gas station. Very dangerous for me to be here, especially since I'm not thinking right.
I walked into the store and see 7 guys who I've never seen before. All of them were big guys, holding shotguns, pistols, one even had a grenade in his hand. Standing there looking like a dumb idiot. I mean his face looked like my ass. Small, black, and hairy. His head was big, but his face as too small, very odd combination.
"Who are you?" One of the guys asked. I looked up and told them I'm the cop that's gonna take them down. Sounds cool, yeah it does. They all shifted at the same time and pointed their guns at me. The shotgun man put his on my forehead. "You're gonna let us walk away after we take what we want from here." He said. My red eyes shifted and met his then I grabbed the gun, twisted it, pulled it out his hand and threw it at the man with the grenade. Remember I move like lightning so I'm fast.
The guy was holding his arm. Apparently that's where he got hit. When all the guys looked back at him,I moved. When they turned their heads back around,I was standing behind them holding the grenade. "He's a devil or something." One of them yelled. Then the shot gun guy told them to start shooting and run. Oh fun.
Now I didn't know if bullets didn't effect me or not back then, but I wasn't about to find out so I hid in an isle. They keep shooting and going out the door. Once I didn't hear anything but two SUV's being started,I got up and ran out there too. One of the trucks sped off. The other one started driving once my hand tugged the handle to the back. The door opened and I pulled a guy out and shocked him. I stepped inside this moving vehicle and shoulder rammed the other guy in the back seat into the door. I used my powers when I did that, so he flew out the car, with the door. It was actually funny because I could see piss staining his pants. These two guys in the front both turned to shoot me, but I simply crossed their arms. I slammed the drivers head into the window(which knocked him unconscious). The car veered off and we crashed into a old building. The man in the passenger seat was killed by broken glass in his throat.
"Damn, these guys are really making me angry." I yelled. When I yelled a bolt of lightning shot down and hit the car. Mind you, I'm still in the car. It struck the engine, the car exploded. Since I move fast,I was able to see it coming and I got out the car fast enough. It burst into flames, but that didn't worry me because I still needed to catch those other guys.
I shot into the air moving, well you know how fast I was going. I searched all back streets and main streets for these guys. I finally found them on the highway. Speeding and dodging every car. I flew ahead and landed right in front of them. Well not directly,I guess 20ft away. The dude decided to keep going so I moved.
Yeah I decided not to get ran over. You thought I was gonna do something cool didn't you. I did, just wait. I got back ahead of the truck and did a thunder clap. I didn't know what I was doing, but my body did. I let out an emp pulse doing that. It stopped their car before they could hit me. It also stopped the other cars too. All these drivers got out and watched what was happening, like nosey people do.
"Let's just kill this guy already." The driver yelled out the window. So the last three guys all got out the car and started shooting. I could see every bullet coming at me. I dodged them all one by one. "Frigging demon!" A guy yelled. I ran at one of the guys and punched him so hard with a fist of lightning that I burned his face. He fell back on his ass, then got up to tackle me. I was so wrong. He grabbed my waist and suplexed me! I hit my head, there was blood and now I was angry. I held up my hands and shocked him, killed him on the spot.
Yeah, yeah I know how evil Jacob! You just killed a man. Well in my defense,I wasn't thinking straight and he tried to kill me,a police officer. So I think it was justified in a sense. Back to the story now.
The other guys started shooting again and this time wildly cause they were scared. I dodged the bullets again, grabbed one by his throat and pushed him on the ground. This time I wasn't trying to kill him. He hit me in my nose and I got off. I made a gun shape with my hands and shot him with lightning twice. One in his penis and the other in his gut.
"That'll keep you down." I told him. I walked to the last guy. He was the leader of the gang. He trembled before me and tried to crawl away. I shot his leg and foot. I wanted him to suffer. I s came to him, kneeled by his legs and punched the one that didn't get shot. I used electricity so I shattered that bone. Think it was his shin. "You're dead." I told him. I held my hand at his head in a gun shape again. And bang!
