I decided to go save Jones. He was in Latues City which was quite a ways from this city. I knew I was gonna have to fight this mystery woman, so I decided to drive my car. The only downside to driving is the amount of gas I'm going to use up. I have the money, it's just a pain to keep getting gas. Oh well, it was a sacrifice that needed to be made.
I packed a few of my clothes and necessities since I figured that I could be away from home for a while. I stepped out of my house and got into my car. When I put my things inside,I hesitated to start it and get going. What am I afraid of? I know Jones is waiting for me. Who else is going to save him from a villain, besides his super hero friend? I tried to give myself some confidence to go. Even the people of this city hate you now. You're considered a devil. That reminder gave me the pressure I needed. I stepped on the gas peddle and sped off.
It was a nice long drive towards the city. I sat in silence the whole time. I didn't want to hear anything but nature. It was calming to my nerves. When I arrived to the entrance of the city, I was taken by total surprise. The city was in tatters. I couldn't even drive my normal speed. I had to slow down. People were running through the streets, breaking into stores, breaking into cars, the city was in total chaos.
Why would Jones want to move here? This place is in horrible condition! I can't even drive any further because of these people running rampant. I stepped out of my car and began walking around the city. Not even five minutes out of my car a group of people surrounded me. Do these guys want trouble? I'll give them some trouble. As they walked towards me, swinging their chains, putting on their brass knuckles, and pulling out their various knives, I charged my hands with energy. They looked at me and laughed. How could they not be afraid of this? I don't have time for these guys.
One guy began throwing knives at me. I could easily dodge them. After he ran out, another guy ran at me swinging his chain. He threw the hooked end at me and I stopped it with my magnetism. I made it wrap around him and sent him flying into a wall. I smiled wickedly. I used magnetism and stuck random metals to all of them. I shot out electricity towards them all. They began shaking and kneeling over in pain. One guy began screaming and foaming in the mouth. The electricity began arcing to one another.
I left those guys there on the ground to suffer. I flew in the air to get a overlook of the whole city. There were certain areas that were crimeless and others that were completely overrun with all kinds of evil. I haven't been to this city in a year and this is how it turns out. Who is the mayor? I zoomed to the city hall at max speed. It was a big building with armed guards standing around it. Now why does this peaceful area need armed guards surrounding this peaceful building?
I decided to get a little closer, but once I got towards the front gates I instantly dropped to the ground. I was unconscious. When I woke up,I was strapped down to this table. I couldn't even move my head, just only my eyes. I saw a man in a white lab coat come into the room. He looked like a scientist, but I wasn't sure.
"How did I get here?" I slurred. He didn't answer me. Maybe I'm not talking clearly enough. "How. Did. I. Get. Here.?" I slurred again. The man was just ignoring me. It was never a good sign when you've been strapped to a table and ignored by a man in a all white lab coat. I'm in danger I began thinking. I was trying to scan the room to find a way out, but the man walked up to me and covered my eyes. He then stuck me with a needle. I think he drew some blood from me, but I wasn't sure.
"You were brought here after you were caught trying to assassinate the mayor." The man finally said. I looked at him and tried to deny his accusations but I was dumb. "How does a man learn to fly anyways?" He asked me. I was unstrapped from the table, but I couldn't get up. Whatever he injected me with paralyzed me. I could move my head at last. I turned to the side and I saw Jones laying there with different wires, cables, and equipments coming out of his body. The doctor saw my eyes widen when I saw him.
"Oh, do you know this fellow?" He asked sarcastically. I wanted to kill this man so bad. Who knew what horrible things were being done to Jones. The scientist laughed and wheeled Jones out of the room. I could hear him say "Send him to her right away, he's all done." Am I next? Who is this her? The mystery woman? I needed to go rescue my buddy. I had to do this, even if I lost an arm or a leg.
