The Kidnapping

There was a knock on my door early in the morning. I'd say about 7:00. Now I don't let people visit me to early or too late so I'm just assuming it's Jones. I walk up to the door cautiously. I charged my whole body this time. I opened it and there was this man in all black looking at me. I've never seen this guy in my life.
"Are you Mr. Jones?" He asked me. "Who wants to know." I replied. He tried to walk into my house, but I stopped him by putting my hand on his chest. He felt a tiny shock and rubbed his chest. He gave me a piece of mail forcefully "You are being sued." "For what?" I asked him. He looked back at me and smiled. "Simply for breaking and entering, also for destruction of government property yesterday. Now good day. " he told me walking away.
I haven't even been anywhere yesterday except that old building to train I thought to myself. Plus I didn't break anything. The electronics malfunctioned a bit but that's about it. Wait, how would he even know about that anyways. Oh damn it's him!
By the time I realized that that man was the one who was watching me, it was too late. Once I stepped out into the hallway, he was already gone. I had to get help to track him down. So I called Jones. I grabbed my phone and got dressed walking out the door.
"Hello?" Jones asked in a sleepy tone. "Yeah buddy, it's me. Get dressed and meet me at the bridge." I hung up and didn't say more. Who knows how Jones morning routine goes,I just know that it took him an extra hour to get to the bridge, when he only lives 10 minutes away. That's walking distance. I arrived at the bridge and the sun was just starting to rise. Such a beautiful sight. I heard a car pull up behind me. It was Jones.
He stepped out the car upset. "Why you call me out here so early man?" He asked me. I pointed to the sunrise. "I know when you get upset, something like that can always calm you down." I told him smiling. He sighed, "Damn you, now I can't be mad." We both laughed and it suddenly got quiet. "What's going on, you ready to be my partner yet?" He asked. I looked at him and told him that's gotta be put on hold right now. He stared back at me. "Look when I was training,I decided to do it in an old wood processing factory. I used up a lot of energy and needed power. I went looking for a circuit breaker and stumbled across a door. I opened it and went downstairs. All of a sudden the lights clicked on, computers began activating, and even a voice saying Welcome doctor spoke. The computer has pictures of me. Me using my powers."
He took a step back and shrugged like he didn't even care. "What's that got to do with me?" He said coldly. I sighed in frustration. "That same doctor showed up to my house this morning saying he's gonna sue me for destruction of property and breaking and entering." I showed him the envelope and gave it to him. He opened it and laughed and said "Dude this paper is blank." I snatched it from him and looked at it. It was blank. I got mad and my hands began discharging electricity, that's when the paper turned yellow.
"I know you saw that Jones." I said. "I'm just as surprised as you, he created paper to react to you specifically." He replied. It read " I'm the Doctor. I've been watching you for some time now, even before you acquired your abilities. You are such a fascinating specimen. But sadly, you corrupted the precious data I had. So now I must kill your wife. Toodles!" We both looked at each other. "Yeah I agree, it can wait." Jones said.
I flew to my house quickly. I busted threw the bedroom window and found the Doctor standing over Rosalin. He wore a black mask to hide his identity. She was looking at me with tears in her eyes. "Get away from her out I'll kill you!" I shouted. I began to charge my body, but then Rosa started screaming. I
"I suggest you don't do that sonny boy. I've injected her with a serum that causes her pain whenever you use your powers. It's only temporary, don't worry. I must say, she's a more beautiful specimen than you." He said wickedly. I tried to jump at him over the bed, but he pulled out a gun and shot me in the shoulder. He then dropped some kind of gas that put me to sleep.
I was shaken awake by Jones. "Where's Rosalin?!" I asked frantically. I tried to get up but could barely move. "Jacob, she wasn't here when I arrived." He told me in disappointment. He helped off the ground and I suggested that we go to that building I mentioned before. I reached in my drawer and grabbed my gun. A black Glock with blue lines across it. We traveled out to the car and drove to the location.
We arrived and both went in. We walked straight for the basement, with me leading. Once we got down there, everything was gone and another computer voice activated. "Welcome Jacob. The Doctor is not in. You will die here in 30 seconds." It said. The voice began counting down. So we ran up the stairs and out the building as fast as possible. When we got 10ft out the door, the place exploded sending us flying into the car.
"We made it buddy." Jones said. I looked at him and grabbed his shirt. "We have no evidence and no lead now. We can't go the others about this, then we'll have to show them the note." I told him. "Oh yeah, which only activates by your power." He replied. "Jones, I'm going to find Rosalin. I will train harder. I can't lose her again." I said softly crying.
