Giving In
She should have seen it coming
as the lights blinded her from the truth.
He came out of nowhere,
ready to attack her with all his strength.
Now she's washing him out of her mind
while she knows he's daring to keep an eye on her.
She counts the minutes, the hours
until he comes again.
She was warned a thousand times,
she held on until the last second.
He was uninvited, a meer nobody.
She cried out, giving up.
She can't do it anymore.
