Ken's PoV: I slept, worked, learned, ate, then fell asleep again. A endless cycle. An infinite loop... An infinite loop that was cut off by another one. Another human.

I sighed and looked at the person who tapped my shoulder, "Yes?"

"C-could I sit with you?" We were at lunch... Meh. Could use someone to talk to.

"Sure..." I mumbled loud enough for the person to hear. The figure sat in front of me. I looked at the masked figure. "What is your name?"

"I'm M-Mark.... Mark Saitler...
(A/N - I'm bad with making up names XD)"

"I'm Kennedy Migraine..."

"But... Aren't you a guy? I'm sorry..."

"I'm... I'm female..."

"Oh. I'm sorry..."

"It's fine."

We sat in silence. The figure was looking down at his food... I was too. I suddenly took a bite of my food. It was gross, maybe even a safety hazard. Mark gently lifted his mask and took a bite from his sandwich. The chatter was loud, though, I didn't mind. Mark put his mask into place and looked at me. I didn't know his facial expression, though, I just know he wasn't smiling. I sighed and looked at him, focusing on his eyes... Well, where his eyes would be.

"Does that mask bother you?"

"No..."

"How can you see?"

"I just can. I don't know why."

"Oh... Why do you wear it?"

He went silent. I looked down and muttered, "Sorry."

"It's fine... I wear the mask because I don't like my look... The mask doesn't bother me or anyone else so I just wear it."

"Oh..."

We sat in silence again. I heard bits and pieces of conversation, such as, "...the new kid is sitting with...," and, "... the trans boy? No way!"

I sighed a bit. A new daily life. Huh. Never thought things would change.
