[Chapter 12]
(Ethan)
I can't believe it. She's crying. I felt a deep urge of guilt. I was shivering. I didn't know what to do.
I held Jens shoulder. "Jen stop now...please." I begged. I looked at Flaire. Her eyes were blank. I couldn't read her anymore. "Why would I? You guys observed that there are more of her abilities right? So I'm letting it all out." She said in a sarcastic tone.
I'm not comfortable. I kept walking left and right. Not knowing where I should place myself. I walked to Jen and said "Please...Jen, stop" with a broken voice. She looked at me and glared. "No" she said, firmly. F*ck! I don't know what I'm doing!
I was down on my knees and everyone looked at me. "Please...stop" I said with a broken voice.
*thud!*
We looked at Flaire. She was laying on the floor, unconscious. My eyes widened and I couldn't move. I don't know what to do. "Stop this nonsense, now!" Clint exclaimed. Jen stiffened and stopped the illusion.
Clint ran to her and carried her. I too, ran to them. I looked at Clint. "I'll do it" I said as I took Flaire from his arms. I carried her to the car.
Inside the car, melody was sitting. I layed her beside melody. She looked at me. "You like her don't you?" Melody asked. I ignored her. As much as I want to answer that question. I can't, I'm still so confused.
"Come on guys, we gotta go!" I shouted at them. "I'm not supposed to say this but looks like you got an opponent." I looked at her and she turned to Flaire. I know what she meant.

Everyone in the car was quite. Flaire was beside me, resting her head in my shoulder.
Minutes passed and Flaire woke up. When two seconds passed. She cried hard. "Mom! Mom...Mom..." looks like she bared what happened.
"Mom..." She murmured, sobbing. I was shocked when she wrapped her arms around me. Everyone looked at me, except the driver.
"What?"-Ethan
"Calm her!"- Jessy
"Are you crazy?! I can't!"-Ethan
"So you'd let her cry on you while she's wrapped around you?"-Nic
"Ok, Fine!"-Ethan
"Do it!"-Melody
"Jen! Illusion!"-Ethan
"What?! No way! I'm done wasting my ability on her!"-Jen
"Thats it! Everyone shut up! Jen, I thought I told you not to bring her family into this?" Clint shouted as soon as he stopped the car. Everyone quite down.
"I didnt know what else to do!"-Jen
"Then you should have used any other mythical creatures!"-Clint
"Ethan, calm her down. We can't use any other ability for nothing" Harsh talk. She's nothing to him?!
"But what can I do?!"-Ethan
"We don't know!"-everyone.
I tried to turn into her family dog. "Arf, arf!" I barked. "Doggy?!" She looked at me and......"Aaaahhhhh!" SHE CRIED HARDER?!
"Idiot! Don't use anyone she saw in the illusion!"Nic shouted. I turned back to my own self but Flaire was still wrapped around me.
"Then what am I supposed to do?"-Ethan
"Your on your own kid." What the?! You guys can't leave me here?! I wondered my sight around for a minute then I remembered the time that I got hurt so bad and cried hard. The only way for me to stop crying was mom's hug.
So I did what I remembered. I hugged her back and combed her hair with my fingers. I looked at everyone and they were silent. They stared at me with shocked faces. "What? Why are you guys looking at me like that?" I asked.
"Nothing" They all said then looked away.
I felt her cries were turning into sobs.
"Looks like you calmed her down"-Nic
"Yeah, looks like it."-Ethan
"Your smiling"Melody teased. I quickly wiped my smile off. Why was I even smiling?
"No I'm not"-Ethan
"Y-Yes you are" We all looked at Flaire. She was still sobbing. "You alright now?" I asked.
"Yeah, thanks to you" She said as she smiled. Sho took her arms off me.
"Wwwwooooohhhhh!!!!!" Everyone screamed. Except for Clint. "What?" I asked, innocently.
"I can't believe it!How could you guys throw my family just like that?" We all looked at Jen. "It was nice how you played along to my trip, it was the only thing I could think of. I've only seen a few of your abilities because these two guys here, stopped me." She said sarcastically as she pointed at me and Clint.
"Because it wasn't right to use a family as a threat to anyone" Clint and I both said. We looked at each other. "Ethan! Here's your long lost brother!" Nic shouted. I glared at him. "Shut up" I hissed.
"Step on it. We need to go, it's getting dark already" I turned to Clint. The car started and drove us off the middle of this stupid forest. We were all noisy inside the car. This is a new one. I didn't bother to care whether it's a new one or not. But for me, I'm glad that I got to experience this with them.
