[Chapter 34]

(Flaire)

AT THE HOSPITAL...

"Owwwww!" I shouted as the alcohol once touched my wound.

"Going to the hospital isn't even part of the plan, what were you thinking?!" Ethan shouted as he was looking at me like a hungry predator and changing the cotton he used as he wiped my wound with alcohol. Why does he have to look like that?

"My motorcycle is broken, plus, you got injured!"

"So what if I got injured? What was the big problem anyway? Unlike anybody else in the world we could fix your ride in just a second!" I demanded. He looked at me seriously and leaned on me closer.

"The ride isn't the big problem here, you are. I didn't want you getting hurt"

Lub...Dub...Lub...Dub...

The h*ll, this feeling is kinda getting old. After the j's prom?! I know why my heart speaking and shouting.

"*laugh* Stop joking, seriously. It's all obvious that all you care about is the motorcycle" I said with an awkward smile. He's so close! >~<

"I'm not in the mood of joking, I'm serious." He said in such a serious tone.

"Oh really" Sarcasm took charge.

"I'm damn serious Flaire" I read his mind and look at what I read

I don't know what will I do if I lose you...

I mean really? is he making fun of me or just toying with my feelings?

"I'm not Flaire" 0_0 D*mn straight. I just forgot you can copy one's ability.

He smirked. "I guess you were able to know how I feel" He reached out for my hand and placed it on his chest.

Lub...Dub...Lub...Dub...Lub...Dub...

He's heart is the same as mine. Beating faster...Feeling...I don't know.

"That was for you" It made me flicker. Ok, I just wish to be eaten by the soil and perish to forever darkness.

"*laugh* Your seriously asking for that?" He asked as he took a step back.  0_0 You think? I'm surprised to what you said, what can I do?!

"I don't know, answer me?" The h*ll?! What was that supposed to mean?

"I don't know. What will you say if I asked you to court a girl like you?" My body trembled. What the h*ll was he talking about?! Are you seriously asking me this stupid question?!

"Well, yeah." 0_0 Oh no. I'm in big trouble.

I looked for a new angle to make this conversation die. I didn't want to ruin our friendship just because of that.

"If your thinking about...not approving to it, just say the word. You don't have to think of anything else." My knees shook. My heart raced. My eyes...starting to tear, I just wanna throw up. What will happen? Will you just say the truth to me please?

"I...I...it's nothing. Forget about it, let's just go" He answered with a disappointed look and with an awful tone in his voice. Like anytime, he would burst into tears.

I followed him...depressed. I am dying to say yes, but I don't want our friendship to end.

We spent the rest hours left riding and roaming in the road. We went to a museum, we hiked a mountain etc. We already ate lunch before those so it ended like this.

"Lets go there! And there! there!!!" I shouted as I dragged him place to place. He still wore a poker face. Oh please, I can't deal with this now. We were finally at the carnival.

"Waaaahhhh!!! The fireworks display is about to start! Ethan!" I shouted as I flew him into the air.

"Whoa, hey!" Ethan demanded.

"Finally, a reaction" I said with a wide grin. I created a platform that floats in mid-air, afterwards, we both sat, floating and riding the it.

The fireworks lasted for about an hour. And Flaire has been so energetic about it. The thought made me laugh. I took a glimpse of her...asleep. Alright, time to go home.

I woke Flaire up. "Hey Flaire, it's time to go" I said as I shook her. Her eyes opened and looked at me. I smiled.

"Let's go" I said in a soft tone.

"Your not angry anymore?" She asked.

"No, I'm not angry" She jumped up and carried me. We both flew to my motorcycle.

As we roam the road...Flaire still fell asleep. When we arrive at her house. I wanna surprise her, I know she missed her family so much. I carried her to her room. I opened the door and Flaire just woke up.

"Ethan!" She exclaimed. Yeah, I kinda carried her bride styled.

"Night" I said with a smile.

"Put me down will you?!" She shouted. I laughed then did what she said.

"Hurry up and change, your mom's calling you downstairs. Dinner is served" I said with a smile.

She looked at me...unbelievably. "You serious? Your not joking are you?" She said with that voice.

"Of course I am! Look, your room's infront of you" I said as I chuckled.

"Oh my gosh, Ethan thank you!!!" She shouted as she leaped into a hug. I smiled, I'm happy your happy.

"Well that's just creepy" She commented. She obviously read my mind.

"*laugh* Ok! Go and change" I said as she let go of the hug.

"Ok" She said. I shook my head with a smile and started to walk away.

A few steps away from her...

*Boogsh!!!*

I panicked to run towards her. She fell on the floor. How the hell will I be happy about this?!

I shook her continuesly and hoped for something, but in a glimpse...she was gone. Leaving behind...a wavering light of red and blue.
