[Chapter 25]

A few days passed and I still couldn't forget what happened to the garden...the thing that I felt when our palms intertwined. I want to ask the other girls about this shockwave I just felt...but I'm afraid that they were just gonna laugh at me.

We also returned to our present time after the j's prom. Which was an hour away when we go back in time. "Hey Flaire..." I heard Ethan call out in a low voice. He's afraid to get a detention.

Today were here at school. We've been taking a few rests for a while now, what happened to the training?

I looked at him. "Wanna hang out at lunch?" He asked. I gave him a smirk. " Sure, but...we 7 always hung together right?" He scrathed the back of his head. "No, what I meant was..." He started. I stared at him, waiting for an answer.

"The t-two of u-us o-only" He said looking away. I laughed at his reaction. "Ok, sure" I said.

"Mrs. Asphire, is there something you wanna share with us?" Our teacher called out in sarcasm that made me stood carelessly from my seat. "N-None sir." I said. "Good, now you behave yourself" I nodded.

I took my seat and listened to the lessons this time when Clint spoke. "We have a training starting tonight" He said as he looked at the glass Window beside him.

I nodded and took my attention to the lesson again.

*Riiiinnnnggg!!!*

Finally, the bell rang. I'm freaking hungry! I walked to the door as fast as I can when Ethan grabbed my wrist. "Come on" He said as he turned his hand to my hands, where our palms intertwined again. Like the last time...I felt a shockwave running from my veins. And my heart? Same as always.

I walked to the corridor towards my locker. There's not much people walking around here. They said it's too creepy for them. But who cares? This is where their lockers are placed. They can't avoid this place just like that.

It's lunch time and I let everyone go first before me. My thoughts were disturbed when I heard whistles echoing the place as I opened my locker. I ignored it and took my books quickly. I slammed it closed and turned. I hoped to see a free way for me instead I saw Nic infront of me.

"Nic?! What the hell are you doing here?! You scared the heck out of me!" I yelled at him. "Sorry" He said between his chuckles.

"So you're afraid?" He asked that made me caught off guard. "N-No" I said making my voice firm. He laughed then looked at me. "Then why were you surprised at my presence...breathing heavily, looking panicked plus...you yelled when you saw me." I was speechless, really, I couldn't find my voice at the time.

"So I'm right. Your scared" He said as he smirked. I held myself up high and said "Am not" I took my first step walking away from hell and from him. He makes me so nervous about nothing.

I walked away not taking a last look at him. "Hey, wait up! Wanna hang out?" He yelled. I heard his footsteps getting closer. Here comes the great Mr. Yu

I faced him with my eyebrow raised. "Why would I do that?" I asked. He gave me a quick peck on my cheecks and said.

"Because this is my chance to prove it" He said before he held my hand and started walking infront of me.

Again, I was speechless. I couldn't accept that he kissed my cheeks. I tried to act casual, that the kiss didn't affect me so I smiled at him, increased my speed in walking and dragged him.

I dragged him all the way towards the others. My eyes searched for Ethan and Flaire but I didn't saw them. All I saw was Jen, Clint and Melody. "Guys, he asked me if we could hang out together. Is it alright if we guys leave you?" I said infront of Clint as I let go of his hand.

"Ok" He replied. "Where is Ethan and Flaire anyway?" I asked.

"Took out on a date" Jen disturbed with a wide smile on her face. "Oh, ok." I said. "Excuse us but we gotta go now" Nic said grabbing my hand.

I opened my mouth as I was about to say something but he didn't let me. He dragged me away from them.
