[Chapter 27]

(Ethan)

"Wait! Flaire, we don't know what that is!" I shouted at her. But she didn't stop, she kept walking towards it.

"Flaire! Hey, get back here!" I shouted and shouted. But she didn't hear me.

The moment the light was gone, I didn't saw Flaire anywhere. I walked to the tree and the light banished too. Where the hell is she?!

I took out my phone and dialed melody's number. After a few rings, she answered it.

"Flaire banished with a light" I directly said.

[What?! What happened?! Where is she?!] She yelled.

"I don't know where she is! For a moment there was this light coming from this tree, behind it. She walked towards it and then she was gone. Same time as the light!" I explained.

[Why did you let her?!] She complained.

"I yelled at her trying to get her attention. But it's like she couldn't hear me, like I wasn't there!"

[Wait up. I'm going there] She said.

"Ok." Afterwards, I ended the call. Flaire...where are you?

(Flaire)

I woke up to the sound of a siren. A big bell ringing. "Hurry up and get up!" A girl screamed opening the door of a room I was in. Where the heck am I?

"Where am I?" I asked her. She stopped walking around and searching the room. She looked at me like she was worried.

"Who are you?" I asked.

She just starred at me with a sad smile. She caressed my cheeks with her soft hand and smiled. A satisfying smile. "Sweetheart, don't joke like this." She said.

I got confused but asked her one more time.

"I'm not joking around. Where am I? Who are you? Where's Ethan?" Her smiled faded. Tears were starting to flow. I'm not getting any answers! Where the hell am I?!

"You're so young." She said with a soft tone. Burying her face into her palms. "Please, miss, just answer me. Where am I?" I asked her again.

She sighed and looked at me directly. Her eyes were red because of the tears that flowed down continously. "You're here at cristyc village. I'm...supposedly your protector but, now you're gone forever." She explained.

"What?! I'm dead?! I'm still confused! What am I doing here at crista, crust...whatever you call this place! Please, just tell me everything" I pleaded.

"I need to explain that to you later, for now we have to run for our lives." What?

"Excuse me?" I asked.

"Creatures are hunting this village and eating most of the villagers, so, if we don't run now, we're gonna be inside a myths belly soon." She said.

"Ok" I replied and started getting up to my feet. I saw her took out some bags and a lot of baggage out of the roof.

She grabbed my hand and started giving me bunches of bags to carry. Afterward, we ran downstairs. She's living at a...cabin?

We stepped out of her house and I saw some mythical creatures that you won't usually see in the place I'm living in. "What the hell are those?!" I yelled to her while we're running.

"Those are the myths themselves. One is corpus, one is an amin and one is a tiros!" She yelled back.

"What?!" I blurted out. That caused one of the myths to hear me and follow us. -__- great, just great.
