[Chapter 16]

(Flaire)

We chose a simple dress for me. It's a blueish dress. It's not that revealing. I actually have an extra small cloak just for emergency. Like getting so cold.

***

Today is the second day of preparing. The other day was when we bought supplies and materials for the event. Nothing even happened yesterday!

*Flashback*

"Ethan! come on! We gotta go! Get up lousy head!" I screamed at the top of my lungs. How could I not scream?! He wouldn't even leave the classroom!

The principal said were excused anytime we want. And now is the perfect time to get started. But of course, the principal won't be giving us plus grades. It's our punishment for being late.

Everyone's eyes were staring at me. I was really lucky that the professor wasn't here yet. Ethan looked at me then looked away. -_- He just ignored me. I clenched my fists and walked towards Ethan. He looked at me in boredom as I was right infront of him. He's been like this since earlier. He's not himself. What happened to his head?! It gotten worse!

I clenched my fists tighter. I grabbed him by his shirt and dragged him all the way to god knows where we will plan to place this useless event. What's the point of having a J's prom anyway? They could reason me that it's for something about the graduation or what else. But why are they even celebrating this in the middle of the school year? What's the use of this?

"Let go!" He demanded. I stopped and looked at him irritatingly.

"What's your problem anyway?! What happened to you?! Why are you such a jerk?" I asked. He looked at me in boredom.

He carelessly grabbed his shirt off my hands. He walked away. He walked away like he didn't care then he.........laugh?

"I......I'm...s...sorry...for........earlier.." He said between his laughs. What the hey?! He's making fun of me!

I clenched my fists and walked towards him. "What were you thinking?! It's not funny Ethan!" I shouted as I was infront of him. He finally stopped laughing.

"Don't you ever, do that again." I said as I pointed at him.

"Ok" He said as he playfully smiled.

I walked away leaving Ethan following me. "Where is this event gonna happen anyway?" I asked as I turned to him.

"You don't know?" He said as he chuckled. "Yeah I don't know, whats wrong with that?I'm new here don't you remember?" I said sarcastically.

"There's a ball room over there." He said as he pointed at the right. I noticed a big building. It's wide and it's really big. It really has a great garden around it. Great for the decorations we bought.

"Hey, it's not so b------" I turned to see him, but I didn't see any irritating Ethan. I just saw him walking away.

"Hey! where are you going?! your not gonna help me?!" I shouted.

"Not obvious enough? walking away from you" He said, not even looking at my way.

"Well yeah its obvious. What I am stating is, AREN'T YOU GONNA HELP ME?!" I shouted at the top of my lungs again.

"Nope, not gonna help" What the?!...

"Hey! We're both assigned to do this! Either if you help or not your still coming with me!" I said before I throw my right arm up. Branches started to hurdle over him and tie him as good.

"You will never go away from me starting this time." I said as I put my arm down bet left him tied up.

"Jakbdiwjwvsh...." He said.

"What?" I asked. What am I supposed to do? I can't understand him. I loosen the branches around him a little for him to speak.

"I was just waiting for you to say that.That's my 2nd offense.You gave your word." What?!

"You can't do that! I just said this time!" I shouted.

"No you said, starting from this time." Really? That's he's 2nd offense? All the offense he has to ask me was to punch him more. I would have done that.

"Fine! But you gotta help me here!" I said as I finally let him go.

"No problem..."

I took a ladder then placed it to the wall infront of me.

"Hey Ethan, could you hold this for a while?" I called as I placed the ladder on the wall.

"Sure" He said. I climbed the ladder. I was about to pin the decoration on the wall when he shook the ladder I was standing. I quickly held the ladder.

"Ethan! Your not crazy are you?! Don't do that!" I complained. As wide as this place is, my voice is heard load and clear, it just echoed! I tried to stand again carrying the blue streamer in my hand.

I stood up and tried to pin the streamer in the wall, but before I could do that... He shook the ladder again! "Ethan!" I screamed out. "What?" He asked innocently.

"Are you trying to get me injured?!" I asked out loud. "What if I am trying to do that?" He asked sarcastically. I shrugged and clenched my teeth.

I climbed down...

(Ethan)

I saw Flaire shrugged and clenched her teeth. She climbed down. But because of my playful spirit today, I shook the ladder again. I tried to scare her, but she didn't. Instead...

"Aaaahhhhh!!!!!!"

*BOGSH!!!*

|CLINIC......|

I opened my eyes and looked around. I looked around and saw a white room...Wait, clinic?

I rubbed my eyes again and looked carefully around. I looked around and my eyes stopped at the person resting beside me.

I rubbed my eyes 3 times. I quickly stood up and went off the bed. What happened anyway?

*BOGSH!!!*

I fell to the floor feeling pain in my back and on my forehead.

"Oh my, I'm sorry, I didn't know you were standing infront of the door. Oh dear." A girl said.

That's it! We fell on the floor earlier! And what the h*ck? infront of the door? I faced the person behind me. The school doctor. I stood up holding my head. "What happened?" I asked.

(Flaire)

I opened my left eye slightly to peak. I saw Ethan standing infront of the door, he was facing me. He looked panicked. What's wrong with him?

I kept my laughs that wanted to escape my mouth when I saw Ethan got bumped by the door. He stood up holding his head with his right hand. "What happened?" He asked.Just like magic, I bursted my laughs with no warning.

"Hahahahahahahahahahaha...E...Ethan...a..are you...okay?" I asked between my laughs.

He looked at me confused. I laughed harder because of that. "Hahahaha"

[End of flashback]

And that's what happened all day, we didn't know we rested for hours. We just found out it was already evening when we went outside the clinic. All we saw was a starry sky and our school full of flickering light bulbs. Why does he have to do that anyway?! We really did not finish anything yesterday! Bad luck for yesterday. I just wish we can do something proper for this day.
