A friend of mine, Michael, claimed to be an asexual. Well, he didn't much claim it; he despised it—he toiled over it, and he was usually depressed about that topic. He would cry, though rarely, because he couldn't feel anything towards a woman. He knew he wasn't gay, or at least that was the last thing he thought his sexuality could be. He longed for an intimate relationship. He longed so badly, for even a sexually satisfying situation involving a woman. This is how the story begins. Now, you must remember that I am the narrator, a vessel through which the story is told.
