In front of us was a car, a car with a ribbon, which I have seen multiple times. It was Dad's car. A Nissan Altima. Still, WE HAVE A CAR. YAS!

"YAS. Dad what are you gonna drive?"

"Since, you guys are 17. You guys have earned my trust. So, you guys get this car, and I bought a new car." Harmony went up to our great dad and gave him a hug.

"This is great. Now we have a ride for back to school masquerade dance." I completely forgot about the dance. I always went with Viv, Angel, Eve, and Harmony. I always never bought a dress. Who wants to wear a dress, but since it is Senior year. I guess I could. I looked back to the car.

"Too bad it is dark out, or I would go and have a test drive." Dad smiled

"You will tomorrow when you go to school. Now you two should go to sleep. Go on!" We nodded and ran back to our rooms and talked. She looked joyful

"So, about the dance..." Why did she want to talk about it.

"What?" I don't like not knowing what's going on around me. She smiled brightly

"The girls and I think we should all wear dresses. Instead of all of us wearing dresses and masks while you wear normal clothes and a hoodie to cover your face." I shook my head

"Never in a million years will I ever wear a dress!" She glared at me for awhile and then gave a smirk

"Well, you have to." NO! NO! NO!

"What did you do, Harmony?!" She continued smirking

"The girls and I were shopping for our dresses and we found one you might like. So, we bought it." Why was she so stupid to buy me a dress.

"No! I am not wearing a dress" she pouted. I just stared, pouts don't work on me. She glared at me and then frowned

"Just check it out tomorrow. Remember that we are going to Angel's house? She has all of the dresses." I sighed and groaned, finally giving up

"Fine! I will check it out." She smirked after I said that

"So, you think Alex will ask you?" God, what is up with this girl and love. I mean Alex is cute and all that junk, but I won't admit it.

"Shut up and go to sleep!" She laughed and we both climbed into bed. I grabbed a book and curled up to read it.

-|-Time Skip-|-

I felt my eyes opening to a dark sight. Of course, Harmony was still sleeping. I put on my glasses and looked at the clock. It was 5:15, still have a bunch of time. I got up from my bed and fell to the ground. STUPID LEGS! They were still asleep. The numbness died down and I got ready.

I put on a long blue tee and my oversized black hoodie on over it. I found some jean-printed leggings. I got my bag ready and looked at the time. 45 minutes had past and I had finished everything.

Time to wake up Harmony

I flicked her first, then I pushed her, then I yelled at her. The last one worked.

I ran downstairs while she was getting ready. I saw Dad making tea, not herbal.

"Mornin' Dad. Can I have a glass with 2 scoops of sugar." No I am not British. I am Indian, which was taken over by the British, but that's not the point. My dad smiled

"Okay honey. There is bread on that plate." He pointed to the kitchen counter. Then Harmony came down with messy hair and started combing it. I am lucky, my hair just stays straight while I sleep. I just smooth it a bit and it is fine.
