Chapter 2 : Lying Game

Next Day

I woke up around 2 something I have 5 miss calls & 24 notifications I didn't want to even pick up my phone so I went to take a shower then get dressed I knew my dad wouldn't be home but I went to check anyway & like I thought he wasn't here I went downstairs to cook breakfast & my doorbell rang I didn't wanna answer it but I went to see who it was & it was all my friends from liah to jordan I cleaned up the mess in the living room with then opened the door & smiled
Jewel: why you didn't answer anything of my calls
Me: I just woke up like 20mins ago
Ray : *hugs me* hey bae
Me: hey

Everybody comes in & sits down I go back in the kitchen clean it up & eat my food

Liah : so you cooked
Me: *laughs* ya for me I'm pretty sure yall already ate
Jewel: we did she just being fat
Liah : I am not

Tae : what's the play for today
Me: I have Spanish work to due & we have cheer practice at 5
Jewel: *groans* uggghhh
Ray: o damn I forgot it was 2 aday for us we just got out of practice at 11 but we have to go back at 5
Liah : omg I need to do my Spanish hw too he be tripping can you help me
Me: ya
Jewel: hey where are your parents

Should I tell them what happen
Me: *fake smiles* my mom had a business trip to go on & my dads at work
Liah : your people ain't never home
Me : *fakes laugh* ya you no always on the go
Tae : no wonder why you got this big ass house & nice car with no job
Ray: *laughs* maybe you need to get 1 Tae
Tae : man I'm straight with my parents paying me every 3 weeks
Jewel : lazy ass
Liah : man I get paid for my grades so I'm trying get uo there
Me: I do too well sense I've been getting good grades al my life As are $30 Bs are $20
Jordan: what about Cs
Me: *laughs* have you ever seen a c on my report card
Jordan : come to think about hell nah your smart ass & you got AP classes man
Ray: that's my bae
Tae : yall are really made for each other we only got electives with yall
Jewel: I have AP bio with her but shit that's it & gym
Me : *laughs* can't give us to much
Ray: ya
Liah : I'm trying get like you so I'll be back with my Spanish work come on yall
Ray: I'm staying
Jewel : I'm hungry so I'm finna slide with them
Liah : but I'm fat

They leave & it's just me & ray layed up on the couch

Ray: what's wrong
Me: what you mean
Ray: I know when somethings wrong
Me : nothing
Ray: don't lie to me shy
Me : my parents are just going through something they argue alot

I didn't totally lie they do argue well did until she left

Ray : aww it will be ok my parents went through that too there ok now

2 weeks later it got worst my dads been depressed & my friends are wondering why I'm not going out anymore or myself I keep lying but I don't no how long I can keep this up I know I should be able to trust them but everybody thinks my life is perfect when it's everything but that she still haven't called or texted me I hate her so much my dad drinks now & sleeps & tells me he's going to get a job for me to get me the things I want

Dad: *hugs me* shy I have good news
Me : what is it
Dad: I got a job I start tomorrow they pay alot of money too
Me: dad thats amazing
Dad: we're going to be ok shy we are
Me : *hugs him tight* I know dad I know
Dad: well I have to go buy outfits I will be back in an hour or so
Me: ok bye dad love you *kisses him on the cheek*
Dad: I love you too babygirl *kisses me on my forehead*

I laugh & he leaves 20mins later the door bell rings I open it & it's liah & jewel

liah: hey princess
Jewel: hola
Me: *laughs* hey yall
Liah: wassup any news from your mom
Me: *my heart sinks but I smile* o it's going well she said she should be home in about 2 more weeks
Jewel: man I'm a mommy's girl I would miss my mom
Liah: I'm a daddys girl but I but I would miss her too
Me: *smiling* ya I miss her ya no
Liah; so what we doing today
Me: nun I was gonna chill
Jewel: no your going out today you never do
Me: busy with school work
Liah: you have all As & 2 Bs shy
Me: those bs gotta go
Jewel: omg shy go get dressed now
Me: fine I'm going I'm going

I go do my hair my make up then but on a crop top some shorts nd my tims

We go to rer lobster to my surprise everybody is there as soon as I get out they run & hug me

Tae : missed you ... you don't answer my texts thought you cutted me off

Ray: *picks me up* bae

We go in red lobster eat laugh & have a good time being with them really made my day I completely forgot anything was wrong I love them to death

After everything ray took me home my dad wasn't home so he came in we went upstairs to my room & cuddled

Me : yes
Ray : just making sure *kisses me*

Dad: I seen rays car outside last night is he here

I walk out & go to my room
