"You brought me to an arcade?" I furrow my eyebrows as I look at the small add-on in the mall. Aiden steps up beside me and wraps an arm around my shoulders.
"Not just any arcade... It's the arcade. The best. I used to spend all my chore money on this place." I laugh and he pulls me into the dark room, the only lights coming from the screen of the games and glow in the dark paint decorated on different things.
It wasn't packed, but there was a a lot a people. Mainly guys. Maybe one or two other girls besides me. I smirk and elbow his ribs. "Awe. Were you a nerd?"
He scoffs and drags me towards a specific game. To be exact, it was Donkey Kong. I knew, because I used to play it every once and a while. And it's an old classic game. Along with Pac-man and Centipede.
"No. I was a geek. The difference was that needs were A-plus students in school. A geek is an A-plus student plus very good with video gaming. Mainly the classics. Meaning me."
"Wow.... So your still a geek!" He rolls his eyes. "No. I'm a bad boy." I smirk and cross my arms, raising an eyebrow. "I could be easily qualified a bad boy more than you."
He glares at me. "Your not even a guy."
"How would you know if I have a dick or not?" He laughs and starts rummaging through his pockets for some change. "Because I've stared at your body with a bra a panties on. Plus you look sexy in a bikini-" I punch his chest. "Don't say that!" I yell\whisper. "People will think we're dating... Again."
He smirks. "Would that really be so bad, shortcake? Maybe then guys will know where to stand," he puts the quarter in and smirks as he starts to play it.
"A thousand miles away from you." He doesn't look at me as he speaks. His smirk stays on his face and he looks like he's in wonder wonderland.
I smile and shake my head, leaning agaisnt it and watching him jump over the barrels. He gets right to the top with no hassle and moves on to the next. And he does it for the next ten rounds. By that time, I was shocked. He was amazing at that game. And he's still going hardcore.
He had his eyes narrowed on the screen, his game face on. He had a wrinkle in his forehead from where he was focusing on the screen. I stared at him for a minute. He was starting to open up to me. Even if he noticed it or not. He was letting me know mode things about him. I mean... I highly doubt many other people know he likes classic video games. Or has no sisters and two brothers.
"I know I'm sexy as hell, shortcake, but stop the staring."
"I wasn't staring at you!" I yelled, defending myself. But we both knew I was lying. He smirks and nods. "Yes you were. I know you like me, babe. No matter what you say." I roll my eyes and shake my head. "Never in a million years, dickhead." I mumble before leaning off the machine and walking around.
I find an air hockey game and smile. I want to play that next. I love air hockey. I'm not amazing at it, but I don't suck either.
I glance back at Aiden and see that he's still zoned into the game, so I decide to walk around a little more.
I slowly walk around, my arms crossed, hugging myself. I look along the long walls on games lined up one-by-one.
