"So how long have you and him been together?" Luke asks during last period. I rub my neck. "Three or four weeks.""Oh..." He mumbled, nodding.
Ever since lunch, its been kinda awkward between me and Luke. Espically if Aiden is there. But I don't have this class with Aiden.
"Does he know about your dad?" I nod. "Yes... Can we stop talking about Aiden just for one second. I like talking to you but all you keep talking about is Aiden."
"I can't help it. The only reason we broke up was because you had to move if you didn't have to move, we would still be together."
"We were never together. It was just a friends with benefits."
"Is that what you still think?" I look up at meet his dark blue eyes. I don't say anything. He knows exactly what I think of that without any words. He always has. So I have no fucking idea as to why he keeps thinking its something more.
He looks away and nods. "Alright. I get it. I'm nothing more than a friend to you."
"Luke-"
"I'm sorry I felt more for you than what a friend does." He stood up abruptly, earning every eye in the room. He then just walks out.
I stand up too and look at the teacher. "I'll go take him to the nurses office." I then run out after him.
He was walking at a fast pace and was already halfway down the hall.
"Luke!" I yell after him. He doesn't even stop. "Luke I'm sorry okay!? I thought I'd never see you again!" I finally caught up to him and he spun around, his brows squeezed together.
"Is that really what you thought, Aaron?" I nodded. "Yes!"
"I told you before you left that I would see you again. I promised you. And I keep the promises I make."
I rub my face. "I'm sorry, Luke. Please forgive me." I look up at him with begging eyes. And after a while, he sighs.
"Come here." I step closer to him and he wraps his arms around me in a gentle hug. I wrap mine around his waist and dig my cheek into his chest, listening to his rapid heartbeat.
Luke was too close to me for me to loose him. Me and him have been through more than anyone has. And every time, he's stuck with me. I can't loose him again. My dad isn't chasing me anymore, killing my loved ones. I can finally be with them. So I need Luke to stay here... With me.

"Thanks for the ride Fiona!" I yell as I'm walking to my house. I had to get a ride from her because Aiden told me he was busy helping Jaiden and Chris with something and couldn't pick me up. I was sad but we have been spending a lot of time together lately so I had to let him if he needed to be with his family.
Our car wasn't in the driveway, which told me Andrew wasn't home yet. It's not like its a surprise though. He's never home this early.
I walk into my house and jog up the stairs. Opening my door, I jump and scream.
"Aiden?! I thought you were going to help Jaiden and Chris."
