The Bell for math rang and everyone started gathering all of their supplies. But I was still trying to finish my problem. I couldn't exactly figure it out. Negative numbers were my weakness. Plus all the fractions and exponents and decimals dividing by each other and shit. Yea, I get confused."Aaron." I look up and see Aiden standing over me. He motions with his head to get up and come with him. "Come on." I shake my head. "I can't. I don't have this problem finished." He moves beside me and looks over my shoulder. He laughs and points to B. "That's the answer."
I look up a gawk at him, my jaw on the floor. "How did you do it that quick?!" He laughs and smirks. "It's not hard, shortcake. Your just dumb." He ruffels my hair before walking towards the door. I stand up, trying to gather my stuff. "Hey! Wait up!" I hear him laugh from in the hall.
Once I've got all my stuff in my bookbag, I start to jig out of the room. But the teacher stops me. "Aaron." I Internally groan, then slowly turn to Mr. Ray.
"Sir?" He points to the desk in front of his own. I slowly go over and sit in front of him. He sighs. "I've noticed you've been getting lower and lower in my class-"
"I can explain that-"
He puts a hand up. "No need. The I'm going to have the top of the class tutor you. He gets all of this easily and could probably teach you better than anyone."
"What about you?" He nods. "Well, starting tomorrow I am going on a honeymoon with my wife. We will be gone the whole week and the substitute isn't exactly math smart. You have a test next Monday and you really need to know this stuff," I nod back. Well this is great. I mean, I knew I was doing bad... But a D isn't failing!
He leans back in his seat. "So Aiden Harrison will be tutoring you this we-"
I about choke on my own spit. "W-What?!" I spit. He nods. I stand up. "But you said top of class! Aiden isn't smart!" Mr. Ray smiles. "I see you underestimate Mr. Harrison. He doesn't like to show how smart he is. I don't get why. I think he's got that bad boy rep or something. But anyways, I've already talked to him about it and he seemed fine with it."
"He was okay with tutoring me?" He nods. "Actually, he seemed quite fond of tutoring you." I sighed and stood up. "Thank you Mr. Ray. I really hope to get my grades up." He nods. "No problem, Ms. Bailey."
I grab my bookbag and head out of the classroom. Once I get to the lunchroom, I immediately search for Aidens tall figure and wild black hair. He's standing over with Kendall and Riley in line waiting for food. I immediately run over there and slap the back of his head. He spins around. "Hey! What was that for?!" I cross my arms and glare at him. "Why would you tell Me. Ray you were okay with tutoring me?"
He smirks. "Well it was for an excuse for more alone time with my bitch." I punch his chest and he laughs. I glare at him harder. "I mean it, Aiden." He smiles and tilts his head to the side a bit. "Oh come on, shortcake. Would it be so bad to have me tutor you?"
"Yes! Because I think of you as a dumbass! And if the dumbass has to tutor me, that makes an even bigger dumbass!" He laughs and shrugs. "Oh well. Your stuck with me, babe." I elbow his ribs when he wraps an arm around my shoulders.
Kendall laughs. "You guys are cute." I kick his shin. "We aren't cute." Riley smirks and walks towards me, grabbing my waist and pulling me away from Aiden. "She's mine Aiden, back off." I punch Riley in the gut, making him release me. I step away from him, closer to Aiden. "No I'm not. And if anyone else says it, I'm going to kill them." I feel Aidens breath on the side of my neck, his hand lightly touching my back. It sent shocks up my spine.
