"I'm really sorry Luke. I had no idea he was going to do that." I mumbled, wiping away the blood on his cheek. He smiles with his busted up lips. "It's fine. If I saw you kissing on him the way I was doing you, I would've done exactly what he did."
I smile and spread peroxide on his split eyebrow. He flinches and curses under his breath. I laugh and softly hold his jaw, making sure he can't move anywhere. He smiles up at me, staring like I'm his everything. I try my best to ignore his sharp eyes on my cheek and focus on all his cuts and bruises. Thanks to Aiden, Luke has a black eye, huge, busted lips with cuts covering them, a bruised jaw, three splits in one eyebrow, and cuts and mini bruises all over his cheek. Luckily no damage was done to his nose.
After my little argument with Aiden, I instantly ran to find Luke. But its not like I had to go that far. He was hurt and could barley walk on two feet. He was halfway outside before I got a hole of him and drove us to my house. Andrew wasn't there, like normally. So it was easy to get him in and take him to the bathroom where we are now, bandaging him up. He is sitting on the sink while I stand in between his legs.
"Can I ask you something?" He suddenly whispers. I glance at his eyes before looking back at his eyebrow. "Anything."
"What did you ever see in Aiden? You know... To make you like him." I sigh and put a small tiny bandage over his eyebrow. "I don't even know. He's got me so confused right now. I don't even know what to do anymore." It was the truth. Although 'confusing' was an understatement. I was much more than just confused. I was conflicted, hurt, broke, and there is so many more words to use than those. But right now, there's no way I can think of any.
I gasp when Luke wraps his arms around my waist and brings me all the way to him, pressing his body to mine in a tight hug. Surprised, I slowly wrap mine around his neck.
"Thank you..." He whispered in my ear, giving me a kiss on my cheek, making a line from there to my lips.
"F-For what?" I'm starting to stutter a lot more now. Come on, Aaron! Suck it up!
"Everything. You may think you're a bad friend because of what we did when we were younger but you're not. You're the most important thing to me.... Can I tell you something?" I barley pull back and run my hand over his cheek. "What?"
"I moved back here to see you. Not a day went by that I didn't miss you or think about you." Even though our feelings weren't mutual, I tell myself it's just as a friend. And smile. "Really?"
He nods while smiling, barley biting his bottom lip. "Yes..." He cups my face in his hands and rubs his thumbs along my lips, staring at them with desire. He glances up at my eyes, as if he's asking to kiss me. I smile and lean up, pressing my lips agaisnt his.
And at the same time, we hear a door from downstairs shut. I instantly pull away. "Shit."
"What?" Luke asks. I push away from him and start cleaning up all the supplies I used to clean up his wounds. "It's Andrew."
"Oh really? Does he know I'm back I town?" He starts walking out and before I can stop him, he's already halfway down the hall.
"Lu-" I jump to a halt when I see Luke and Andrew standing right in front of each other. Luke's back was facing me. But I could still guess that if I could see his face, he'd be smiling like Andrew-wait what?! Andrew's smiling?!
