Chapter 33

"Oh thank god after I sent that text you didn't reply and you read it so I though you didn't feel the same way or something." he said, chuckling. I forced a chuckle.

Wait... do I feel the same way towards Sam?

"So what's up? he asked.

"Just laying in bed, talking to a very handsome, funny and sweet guy." I said.

"Oh really?" he asked.

"Mmmhmmmmm.. " hummed.

"Oh who is this handsome, funny and sweet guy?" he asked.

"ohhh it's a secret." I said, giggling.

"Well can you tell me more about him?" he asked.

"He's super loving and caring and always on my mind." I said, smiling, biting on my lip.

"Well I bet he's not as great as this girl I know." he said. "She's gorgeous, everyone would stop and stare as she walked down the street. Her smile could cure cancer and stop wars. Her laugh makes my stomach go crazy, and don't even get me started on her personality... She's the most lovely girl I've ever met. " he said, then took a breath, "And she's allll mineeee." he said, causing me to giggle as my stomach churned with a zoo inside again. "I love you so much Rose." he said. Then the churning stopped... Do I like him the same way? What do I say?

"Honey it's time to put down that phone." I heard the voice of an older woman in the background, probably his mother.

"Okay mom." he said in reply then went back to talking to me, "I gotta go princess, good night." he said.

"Good night." I said, then heard the line go dead, meaning he hung up. I sighed as I put my phone aside. I laid there, on my bed as I stared up at my ceiling. I looked at the time and it was almost 10, and I wasn't tired so I got up and walked downstairs. I walked into the kitchen then grabbed a glass and put some apple juice in it. I stood by the island counter as I took a sip. "Hey whatcha doing down here?" I heard Kian's voice say. I looked up to see him shirtless, only wearing basketball shorts.

"Just got a drink." I said, gesturing towards my glass of apple juice. "Do you want a glass?" I asked.

"No thanks." he said, "I came down here for my earbuds." he said as he grabbed the earbuds off the counter. I finished my drink and rinsed out the cup, then putting the cup in the dishwasher. I walked upstairs, with Kian next to me, and as we passed his door he stopped me in my tracks and said, "Do you wanna come in?" he asked as he opened the door to his room. "We could play a video game or something." he said. I shrugged, saying "Sure," then walked into his room and sat on his bed next to him. Kian handed me a Xbox remote and we decided to play a car racing game.

After three rounds, each having three laps, I won, 2 to 1. "Wooooooooo!" I cheered, "I WON!!!" I looked over at Kian and saw him chuckling, staring at me. I smiled, looking at him. "I won." I said, "You loose." I said, giggling.

"You sure did win." he said, "good job." he said, staring into my eyes. I sat back down and stared into his eyes as he stared into mine. "You have such beautiful eyes." he said.

"Thanks." I said blushing. I saw him lean in and I couldn't stop myself but to lean in as well. As our lips met in the middle, Kian wrapped his arms around my waist, pulling me closer. This kiss wasn't like the kisses that Sam and I have. This one made it seem like fireworks were going off, and caused my legs to weaken and cause my whole body to calm down, except for my heart. My heart was beating so loud that I bet China could hear it.

As we pulled away mutually, i stared into his eyes. "Wow." he said, looking down at my lips. It wasn't until then that I noticed what I have just done. "Oh no..." I said, putting my hand on my lips. "T-that wasn't supposed to happen." I said.

"It'll be our little secret then." he said as he wrapped his arms around me. And I don't know why, but I didn't fight it. Instead, I laid my head on his shoulder as he put his head on top of mine.

What has gotten into me?
