"I didn't cheat." i said, "The worst that happened was that he let me have his phone number and gave me a free cappuccino because I was a mess." I explained. Kian looked at me, thinking about whether or not he should believe me. "I know it looked like i was cheating on you but I would never do anything like that." I said. "I love you Kian." I said. "I love you." I repeated myself to make sure he would remember.
"I love you too Rose." He said, getting up from his chair and sat down next to me, putting his hand on my thigh. "I believe you." he said. "And I'm sorry for being an absolute asshole, I just didn't want to risk loosing you." he said as he put his head in the crook of my neck. I turned my head and gave him a kiss on the top of his head. "What about mom and dad" I asked. "Do you want to tell them about us?" I asked, leaning my head on his. "Luke already knows and I'm pretty sure he accepts us." I said.
"Whatever makes you happy." he said. I smiled as he sat up to look into my eyes.
"Can we tell him now then?" I asked.
"If that makes you happy." Kian said. I smiled then got up. I decided to changed back into my normal clothes so I would appear nicer to my parents. Kian and I walked downstairs to the home office then knocked on the door. "Come in!" I heard mom's voice say. Kian and I opened the and saw mom reading a magazine, and dad at his desk with his glasses on, focusing on his screen.
"Is everything okay?" Mom asked. I looked at Kian then looked at them. Mom and dad stopped working and looked up at us. "We wanna talk to you guys." Kian spoke. I nodded, then walked into the room, sitting on the two seater couch in there. Mom and Dad got up and Dad sat down in the one seater and mom sat herself on the arm rest next to him. "What's up?" Dad asked.
"First I just wanna say I love this family and I don't wanna harm it in any way, shape, or form." i said. Mom and dad exchanged a confused glance then looked back at us. Kian held my hand then said, "I love RoseMary, more than in a sisterly way." he spoke. Mom gasped. "Kian I told you it was practically illegal love." she said.
"Mom you like her legal guardian not her mother that gave birth to her-" Kian said but I cut him off. "But I still love you as if you were the one who gave birth to me." i said.
"Anyways...." Kian said, "It shouldn't be illegal if we're not blood related, anyways it's not illegal if you marry your blood sibling, it's just weird." Kian said.
"Mom, dad, I know it's weird and you might feel uncomfortable, but I love Kian, he makes me feel safe, loved and I just don't know what I could do without him." I said then looked up at Kian, he was looking down at me. He gave me a kiss on the cheek then whispered into my ears, "I love you." he spoke.
"how long has this been going on?" Dad asked with a stern voice.
"Almost two months." Kian and I said in unison. Dad got up in frustration then said, "get out of my office." I looked at him and said, "Dad please."
He said it again, even louder than last time, "Get out of my office, now!" he yelled at us. I teared up slightly then Kian grabbed my hand.
