Chapter 40

I looked down at my scheduale as Kian ran off to see some friends. "here." Luke said, taking out his scheduale. "We have first, second and fifth period together." he said. "i'll make sure you don't get lost okay?" he said. I nodded, thanking him. "here I'll introduce you to some of my friends." he said. Luke started to walk towards a group of guys, greeting each other. "Hey bro how was your summer?" A boy with blonde hair said. 

"It was great." Luke said. 

"I heard the great news dude!" A boy with dirty blond hair said. 

"Oh yea, me and Jenn are dating" Luke said, smiling wide. 

"Speaking of attractive girls..." A boy with brown hair said, "Who's this?" he asked, winking at me.

 "Guys this is RoseMary." Luke said. "She's my sister."

"This is RoseMary?" The boy with dirty blonde hair said. 

"Damn she's hot." The boy with blonde hair said. 

"Boys, you gotta show respect to her." The brunette said. "My name's Chris." he said smiling wide, extending his hand out. I shook it, smiling. "It's nice to meet you." I said, staring into his hazel eyes. 

"My name is Jacob." The blonde one said. 

"I'm Ken" The dirty blonde one said. 

"Yo dude did you see that new game that came out?" Jacob said to Luke. As Jacob, Ken and Luke talked about some video game, Chris made his way over to me and said, "So what's your schedule? Maybe we have some classes together." he said. I took out my schedule and showed him and he did the same with his schedule. 

"Ayeeee." he said. "We have 3rd and 5th together!" he said, cheerfully. "You should sit with me... I can show you around if you wanna." he said. 

I nodded, smiling wide. "Sure." I said. As the bell rang, everyone said their goodbyes then spread apart, going to their classes. "I'll see you in 3rd period." Chris said, winking at me. 

"See you then." I said, smiling, watching as Chris walked to his class.

"Let's head to Geometry shall we?" Luke said. I nodded as I walked by his side to Geometry. We walked into the class and we saw that we were one of the first people there. We decided to sit in the middle of the room. Students started to flood into the class and I saw a person I didn't want to see... Sam. I watched as he was the last one to walk into the class. Since it was a full class there was only one seat left... right next to me. I sighed as he sat down next to me. "Hey." he said. 

"hey." I said. 

"Do you wanna switch?" Luke asked, "So you don't have ot sit next to him?" he asked.  I shook my head then said, "No thanks, I'm fine."

"Okay, well if you change your mind I'm here." he said, and I nodded. I looked over at Sam to see him drawing in his notebook, he's changed a lot... he bleached his hair and he was wearing things I've never seen him wear. He was wearing a pair of jeans, which sagged so I could see his boxers and an oversized t shirt... This wasn't Sam. "What are you looking at?" he spat, not even looking up at me. 

"Nothing." I said as I looked back down at my desk. I couldn't stop myself but to think.... why has he changed so much? was it me? Was it because we broke up?
