Finding out Elijah's mate had been Nolan's daughter made things a lot more weird. I didn't understand why the man seemed to like me so much. I sort of replaced his daughter in Elijah's life. Or well not really. Except for that first night I had slept in his arms he didn't really show much affection. He helped me, took care of me, changed Amber and fed her when I was sleeping. I still didn't like others taking care of Amber except Isabell but I was explained it wouldn't be safe for her to come over her. She was still in my home town with Blaine. We had texted a few times, even video chatted. I could see she hated being away from me and Amber but until Damian was dead she had to stay there and I would have to stay here.

A week had passed and I felt much better. I could eat and drink again and move around the penthouse. That was were we were anyway. Blackwell was a rich man an this was one of his establishments. He had more homes and more people who worked for him.
Elijah was anything but happy when he learned that Lena had told me. He almost shifted into his wolf because he had been so angry. Accusing Lena of getting Amber and me into danger. It was until she told him Nolan had been fine with it he grew quiet and left.

Now I was in the penthouse by myself. Amber sat in her bouncer on the table in the living room while I made myself some tea and searched for some type of radio or stereo. I was in desperate need of music. I found an I-pad that had some decent music on it. I think it was Lena's because there was a seriously hot guy on the background. I doubt that Soren, Jared or Nolan would have that.
"Want to do some dancing my baby?" I asked Amber who smiled brightly at me making happy sounds making me laugh. "You are one adorable creature" I told her while getting her out of her bouncer and holding her in my arms while swaying along with the rithm of a slow song I didn't know.
I slowly and carefully stretched my muscle's holding her for a while but finally put her back in the bouncer so I could stretch a little easier. Amber looked at me while I stretched and started a Ballet routine to see if I still could.
"You know you should take it easy right?"
I gasped for air when Elijah scared the hell out of me just appearing in the living room like that. I never heard him come home.
"Could you please not do that!" I told him taking deep breaths to calm myself down. I was still kind of on edge.
"Sorry, I am sorry. I didn't mean to scare you. Do you need to sit down?" He asked swiftly coming to my side and grabbing my shoulders gently. "No Elijah, I do not need to sit down. I just need you to not sneak up on me" I told him kind of bitchy. He let go of me but stayed right in front of me. "I didn't mean to" He said and looked over at Amber for a second and back at me. "It's nice to see you dance again"
I didn't really have a response to that I just looked at him. "Uh, well yes. I love dancing" I muttered finally, feeling my cheeks heat up. "I still think you should be careful. It's just been a week. And you haven't been eating enough." His face got all stern and a frown showed. I rolled my eyes and tried to push him away putting my hand on his chest.
"You are not as strong as me" He said taking that hand and not letting go.
"Is that so... I am..." He didn't let me finish. He just pulled me closer and pressed his lips on mine.
I was completely thrown of by this action. What the hell!? Keeping his distance, getting angry because I knew what he did. And now... now he was just kissing me. And I couldn't resist him I kissed him back. How could I do anything else. This was the man I had wanted since I had been like 14 or something. And this time neither of us was drunk or under influence of some sort of poison. I wrapped my arms around his neck and he got his hands wrapped around my waist lifting me up and sitting me down on the counter of the kitchen where he continued kissing me sliding his hands underneath the t-shirt I was wearing. Was this really happening. Right in front of Amber? Not that she would understand or anything but it was kind of weird. She was just a few feet away on the table in her bouncer.
Elijah's lips moved from my lips to my cheek and lower to my neck. I moaned softly. Shit this was good. It had been ages since I had been with somebody. He had been my last... and that had been the night he got me pregnant.
"Elijah" I whispered breathless. I definitely didn't want him to stop but it felt weird Amber seeing all this. "She is asleep" He whispered with a hoarse voice and looked at me for a second with a crooked grin on his face. I looked around him to see he was right. She was indeed fast asleep. She must have fallen asleep just now. He started kissing my neck again making me close my eyes and throw my head back. "This is unfair" I muttered. He ignored my comment and pulled up my t-shirt pulling it over my head and throwing it on the floor. "You are unfair" He whispered in my ear and kissing is softly placing his lips back on mine again. "How did you get even more beautiful?" He looked at me again our faces were so close our noses almost touched. I laughed softly. "Beautiful? I look horrible" I whispered kissing his lips softly. "No" He disagreed. "You are stunning. Yes you do need to eat a little bit more and you could use some sunshine but god you are beautiful" I leaned back a little to look at him. Shit... he was serious. Like dead serious. I could see it in his eyes. Eyes that were dark with hunger and lust but mine probably were too. I wanted him so bad, and my wolf agreed. What I felt when I was with Elijah was so different from when I had been with Josh. He had been my mate but It never felt right. With Elijah it did.
Without saying a word I entwined my fingers through his hair pulling him close and kissing him again. I could hear him growl now with lust. He lifted me of the counter and I wrapped my legs around his hips. I was so ready for this to happen. Our lips never parted while he walked us to the couch and put me down gently as always. He took of his own t-shirt and I looked at his chest for a second. I had almost forgotten how fit he was. And now knowing what he did he had to bit fit as hell. He saw I was checking him out and he chuckled. After that he laid on top of me being very careful not to put to much weight on me. "I thought we could never be" I told him knowing how stupid this was to say. I would ruin my change to have a good time. Be with the guy I had been madly in love with since I was a teen. "Let's not think to much about that" He whispered to my neck covering it in small kisses driving me completely crazy.
It wasn't really the answer I wanted to hear but for now I just didn't care. All I could think of were his hands sliding down my lower back and working me out of my pants.

I half expected Amber to wake up and cry so we had to stop but she didn't. She wasn't the one breaking up our little get together. No it was the door opening. Angry voices reached our ears. One of those voices I recognized . It was Josh.
"She should be home with me! I will keep her safe. She is my mate!"
Elijah was of off me in a heartbeat grabbing his shirt from the floor. My shirt was still on the floor back at the counter. A place I knew Josh would be within a few seconds. Elijah realized this too and pushed his shirt in my hands. He gestured me to not say a thing. And trust me, I wasn't planning on. Josh was obviously outraged and saying I was his mate. Hell no!

I pulled Elijah's shirt over my head as he left the room through another door. I rushed to the kitchen grabbing my own shirt just as Josh came in with Soren who didn't look happy at all. Josh wasn't supposed to be here. It was dangerous. It also meant he had to stay. And that was definitely not what I wanted.
"Lillith!" he called my name out as soon as he saw me, ran over to me and threw his arms around me. I could almost hear him sniff in my sent en what he smelled didn't really make him happy. He stepped back and his eyes were instantly darker.
"You are coming home with me!" He told me.
