9. Lucky

"Lillith, Lillith, come on, wake up"
I didn't want to wake up, My head was hurting like hell. And I didn't want to think about what was going to happen when I woke up. I was completely fucked. But then I realised something and my eyes flew open. That wasn't Damian or his little friend Summer trying to wake me up. It was Elijah!
"What the hell happened to you?" He said as he looked relieved as I opened my eyes. He helped my to sit up.
I cringed. that kick in my tummy had most certainly left some bruises and if I wasn't mistaken a broken rib. I had one before so I knew the feeling.
"What happened Lillith!" His voice was more demanding now. But I didn't look at him. I just sat there looking around in the empty house. How long had I been out? And where were Damian and Summer?
"Amber!"

I got on my feet, I had to make sure she was okay. I had to get home. I ignored the pain, I didn't care about myself, just about Amber!
"Lillith!" I heard Elijah following me but I just ran, as fast as I could back home. "Amber!" I yelled as I threw the door open and stepped back in the house. There was my mom with Amber in her arms. She looked at me like she saw a ghost. I walked up to her taking Amber from her holding her close.
"Lillith what happened to you!" my mom cried out looking at me in horror. I didn't understand why she looked at me like that.
"She was like that when I found her" Elijah walked into the house and looked from my mom to me. He frowned as he saw Amber in my arms. I just ignored him. I walked to a chair and sat down. "Oh shit" I mumbled as I felt the pain come back in full force as I relaxed a bit.
"LIllith!"

"Don't, please my head hurts" I closed my eyes trying to wish the pain away. I was completely fine with ignoring what had happened. And I really didn't want to tell anybody. I knew I was very lucky I was still here. I wondered If it was because of Elijah. Maybe he made Damian take of together with Summer. Did that mean I was safe? Probably not. If Damian wanted something he took it. But he was gone. Maybe he wasn't coming back?
"Lillith what happened? Don't tell me you just hit your head?" I opened my eyes only to see Elijah on eye level with me. He looked worried. But I saw his eyes flash to Amber. Did he knew? There was something in his eyes that made me question that. But no way I was going there now!
"Damian" I said, my voice soft and I looked away from his face. "He and his mate... they... well.... I guess I was lucky"
Elijah took a deep breath. "I knew it" He said and leaned back in the chair he sat in.
"Honey... Did he"
My mom had tears in her eyes, but I knew what she meant. I shook my head which only made it hurt more. "No way. He would have to kill me before he is able to do that!"
"Don't say that!" It was Elijah who said that, anger on his face and his eyes grew darker then usual.
I looked at him why the hell was he going all angry like that! It was not his place to get all worried about me. We had one night together! Okay, It was probably the best sex I ever had. But It was Only one night. And though I liked him... probably more than I should. It wasn't like he called me afterwards. I did text him. But never did I get any reply.

"What is going on up here, Is little miss angry pants.... back" Josh came walking back in the kitchen. He had probably still been in the basement with Isabell, Blaine and Liam. He was all smiles but those fade away as he saw my face.
Before I could say something Elijah got back on his feet. "We must warn Alpha Daniell, Damian and his friends are not to be trusted."
Josh looked from me to Elijah. "Damian? Did he do that" He pointed at me. I just nodded. "But why? How? My dad said he was under surveillance. "Not really good one then." I mumbled.
"Blaine! Get up here!" Josh walked to the stairs leading to the basement. A moment later several people walked up the stairs. Fun, more people who wanted to know what happened.
"That's no way to speak to your future Alpha!" Blaines voice sounded and I closed my eyes again. "Can everybody just stop yelling" I asked.
"Your no Alpha jet, And we have to go and see our dads!"
"Why then... Oh shit"
Jupp Blaine saw me now too. I sat there with my eyes closed. Amber was sleeping in my arms She was not the problem. They were! With their loud voices and stamping the ground.
"Lillith!" Isabell cried out. I opened my eyes and she was in front of me kneeling down schock on her face.
"What happened? What did you do?!"
I moaned, I wasn't feeling like answering everybody. "Maybe you should lie down on your bed. Isabell can you help her. I will make sure Amber is okay"
"No!" I got back on my feet knowing this time my eyes were going darker. Not because I was angry but my mother instinct kicked in! I wasn't all that in touch with my werewolf side. But considering my baby... I was and I was highly protective. Especially with Damian lurking. I didn't think he just left. There was something coming.
"She is safe with me Lillith" My mom said. "And I will stay close" Elijah said as well.
"And I will..." Josh called out.
"You are coming with me! We have to get a crew together to hunt those rogue's down" Blaine interrupted him.
I took a deep breath looking from Elijah to my mom , Josh and Blaine. "She can sleep next to me in her crib. I am not leaving her out of my sight! Sorry mom"
I think my mom looked hurt. But she didn't know Damian, I was not going to leave Amber!
"Okay, let's get upstairs then" Isabell said putting her hand on my back and pushing me gently to walk away.
I wanted to say more, tell stupid Elijah to fuck of. Same to Josh. We weren't mates! But I knew I would never be able to handle Damian all by myself. Why the hell did I came here in the first place!

"Damian... he is bad Isn't he" Isabell had taken Amber from my arms and put her in the crib that we had set up in my room. I sat down on my bed my face covered in my hands. "The worst" I said. When I Looked up I saw myself in the mirror. "Oh shit"
It looked awful, the right side of my face was covered in bruises. Although I healed pretty fast. This would take a day or 2 to completely go away.
Isabell pointed me to lay down and I did, She sat on the bed next to me. We both had our share of bad boys.
"You never really told me about him. Like... Details" She didn't look at me, she looked at Amber who was still sleeping peacefully.
"He is screwed up. He likes to scare people, torture them until they break. And he tried that on me too. But at some point he stopped. I think he was done with me. Lucky me right!" Sarcasm sounded in my voice as I looked up at the celling of my room.
I wasn't lucky... not at all.
"I am sorry I got you into all this"
"That's okay sweety, And I did, you know... meet my soulmate"
I moaned, "Don't start that shit on me. I rejected my mate remember" I didn't even looked at Isabell. Yes I hated she appeared to be Blaine's mate. "You know werewolves get possessive, and he will want you with him all the time. And you will..."
Crap now I was getting emotional! I tried very hard to fight back my tears. But I just couldn't!
"Oh wait right there! I am not going to be a house wifey... Hell no! And I already told him that! I told him I would see how this mate thing works but he has no claim on me whatsoever! If anybody has a claim on me it's You and Amber! And..."
A knock on the door silenced her. I couldn't help but smile though. She was not going to leave me, not for now anyway. That smile disappeared when a familiar voice sounded.
"Hey, I was hoping I could talk to Lillith If that's okay."
"No" Isabell got on her feet, as I just kept starring at the ceiling.
I didn't wan't to talk to Elijah!

So Lillith is still in the safe zone, But for how long? Damian is up to something for sure! And what about the vampires? Don't expect them to be sparkly, or friendly for that mather :P

I hope Iff you like my story so far you could drop me a Line or a vote :) I love those! And I am in desperate need of an Editor! Anybody up for that? Now I just put it trough word to get any small mistakes out but that doesn't work on grammar mistakes. And I know they are in there. I just mis them.
