"Seriously, you two. Can't you swap saliva later on?" Adam nagged while making gagging noises deep in his throat.
I pulled away but Zylen held onto my waist with gentle firmness. He kissed my noise and I giggled.
"Ugh, I'm going inside." He hastily rushed back into the house while shivering in disgust.
Dropping his forehead against mine, his minty breath fanned my face as he whispered, "I don't know why you kissed me, but I'm so glad you did."
"It was my first kiss." I confessed. I expected him to laugh or look baffled but all he did was smile widely at me.
"Even better. I want us to be each others' in many ways."
It was my turn to smile at his cheesiness.
"Too cheesy?" He asked, when he noticed my smirk.
"Little bit." I admitted. I pinched two fingers together to show him my version of what 'little bit' looked like.
He interlocked his fingers with mine and stared at me intently. "I'm serious, though. I really like you, Aura. And something tells me I will for a long time."
He needed to stop saying things like that unless he wanted my heart to leap out of my chest. "I really like you, too." I mumbled. I could feel myself turning red. God, I was such a girl. Who knew?
Zylen lifted my chin up with his finger and inched forward. I waited for his lips to smash against mine. Instead, he brushed them gently against mine and nipped my bottom lip and sucked on it to sooth the faint sting.
"We should go inside before those idiots ruin the moment either way." He sighed regretfully. "We'll work on your Abstracting later."

"Did you at least use protection?" Derek hollered when Zylen and I made our way into the living room. Jesse and Cole burst out laughing."Shut the hell up." Zylen quipped. He landed onto the couch and pulled me along with him, cradling me in his lap. I moved, taking a seat next to him and he loosely put his arm around my shoulders.
"Aww, you guys are too cute." Nabeela gushed. I smiled at her and she smiled back. "I've never had a boyfriend. With five older brothers and an overprotective father, boys weren't exactly coming to my yard for milkshakes."
Everyone laughed at her comment. Was Zylen my boyfriend? I thought to myself. I mean, we only kissed and I've known him for a grand total of one week. But we obviously had chemistry, and that was enough for me at that point.
"I'll be your boyfriend." Jesse offered, not surprisingly.
"No offense, but I'd sooner die." Nabeela rolled her eyes at him.
"Ouch," he clutched his chest in fake pain. "It's your loss. I'm the ultimate bae."
"Okay," Rehana pointed a slender finger at Jesse. "Never, ever say 'bae' again." She warned. Willow nodded in agreement beside her.
Jesse just winked at her and went back to talking to the other two stooges.
"Ah behold!" Qaahir belted. "Greg and Bella pull away long enough to breath." Everyone's eyes, including mine, turned to look at the couple. Bella looked away sheepishly and Greg smugly wiped away at the lipstick on his jaw.
"I can't help it if my girlfriend is the hottest thing alive." He wrapped his arm around her and kissed the side of her head while she blushed profusely. Which was odd, because she was anything but timid a few hours ago when she had her tongue down her boyfriend's throat.
