Hazel's P.O.V
"Lion...?" I said, reaching out for her
"Hazel?" She said concerned, she only uses my first name when she's serious.
"I think I'm gonna be sic-" I was interrupted with my lunch pouring out of my mouth. Everybody else was too astounded by the explosion to care about the puke on their shoes.
"Let's get you out of here.." She said looking around.
"Can we go outside? I need some fresh air." I sounded much more calm than I felt. It was as if the whole world had slowed down and it was just me... Well, it would just be me now...
"Sure." Just as we were about to reach the doors, a hand reached out and grabbed lion by the the shoulder. Lion does NOT like being touched, so of course she spun around and cursed at them. It was only Ruben, a girl who I'd only seen her a few time around the school. She was a tall girl, with short blonde hair and always wore a baseball cap. She didn't really have many friends and I had been told before that she was a complete nerd and believed in demons, spirits and anything supernatural, she also always brought a tin foil hat to school. So really, she was a bit of a weirdo...
"Don't you guys know how dangerous it is to go outside after an explosion? Whatever experiments were going on there are probs sinking down into the air now!"
"Yeesh! We get it! Don't go outside!" Said lion, holding up her hands
Me and lion went into the bathrooms, and I just couldn't keep it in anymore... I bust into tears and my chest shook from the sobs escaping it. I cried so long that I didn't think I had any more tears left.
"Everything is gonna be fine Blane, everything's gonna be just fine..."
