Chapter 10- Forever Alone

Baileys POV

Sarah and I are sleeping on an air mattress in the living room. Zayn is on the ground next to my side of the mattress and Harry is the same on Sarah's side. Niall is on the couch, Liam is on one recliner and Louis is on another.

Zayn, Harry, Liam and Louis are out like a light once Toy Story 3 starts but Sarah, Niall and I stay awake.

Sarah and I talk about how she is now dating the one and only Harry Styles. She tells me how she is scared of the hate she will get from Directioners but I tell her not to worry and soon she drifts off to sleep as well.

I kept my promise to my mom and slept with Sarah and the last thing I see before I fall asleep is a Spanish Buzz Lightyear flirting with Jess the cowgirl.

I wake up to the sound of Louis snoring. My eyes flutter open and I feel something warm in my hand. I look down to see Zayn's hand in mine, we must have done that in our sleep. I turn my head and see Harry is now on our air mattress. Sarah's head is on his chest, both of them are sound asleep.They are so adorable! I smile to myself and look at my watch I groan to myself, 7:45 am. Ugh! I close my eyes and drift back to sleep, leaving my hand in Zayn's.

Nialls POV

Louis snores loudly and my eyes snap open. I look at the clock on the wall, great 8:05 am. Thanks, Louis I think sarcastically.  I got like 7 hours of sleep. I was up late last night, not able to fall asleep. After Bailey fell asleep at around 11:00 pm I got up and sat with my legs crossed across from her on the other side of Zayn. For who-knows-how-long I stared at Bailey's beautiful face. I memorized all the little details. 

How she smiles slightly in her sleep, how her eyelashes flutter occasionally, how her nose moves ever-so-slightly when she breathes, and I could name a million more.

At around 12:30 am she moved in her sleep. I scrambled back onto the couchand for the next half hour I stared at her name in my contacts list. 

I close my eyes again and I see Baileys name in my mind. I smile and open my eyes again.

I look over at Bailey and I immediately feel a tear slid down my cheek. She and Zan are holding hands in their sleep.

I look over to where Harry and Sarah are, and I feel jealousy boil up inside of me. 

He liked Sarah from the second he saw her, and now he has her.

I'm not jealous because he got Sarah, I'm just jealous because he got his girl. It's complicated.

I look back over to Zayn and Bailey, and I get the same feeling I always get when I see them together. The feeling that it should be me with her, not him.

Now its obvious to me that I really like this girl. But it looks like I'm destined to be forever alone.

Everyone wakes up at around 10:00 and the whole time I was sitting on the couch, switching between staring angrily at Bailey and Zayn's hands, willing one of them to move and let go. I'm scrolling through the millions of pictures of Bailey I still have saved on my phone from forever ago.

Louis jumps up and starts dancing around. "Eleanor's coming over today, Eleanor's coming over today!"

Lucky him he has a girlfriend who loves him and he loves back.  

Danielle was coming today also. She is Liam's girlfriend and they too are totally in love. The girls are coming over at noon, so while we wait for them we play Monopoly.

At noon, the game is no where near over but Bailey has the most money and property so we declare her the winner.

"Great job love!"  Zayn says smiling at her. It seems as if she can't resist smiling back.

And the jealousy returns!

At that moment the doorbell rings.  Louis and Liam spring up to go answer it, smiles plastered on their faces. We hear El and Dani scream excitedly and the rest of us walk over to say hello.

Zayn and Bailey are not quite holding hands, but are close enough together to be.

"Louis, I missed you so much!" Eleanor squeals and jumps into his tight embrace.  Louis may be a wacko sometimes but he is so protective and kind around El.  Dani and Liam are doing the same, how come I'm the only one alone?  When the girls are released Dani and EL look over to us.

"Hey Harry, Niall, Zayn," El says waving to us as she says our names.

"Um...who are these girls?" Dani asks with a puzzled look on her face. Harry speaks up before Zayn and I have a chance to.

"This is Sara Mullen..my girlfriend." Harry smiles proudly as Dani and El congratulate him.

"Let me guess, this is your girlfriend Zayn?" Dani smiles over at Bailey and Zayn.

God! I hate how she just assumes they're dating. I want to scream " THEY ARE NOT DATING!" But I hold it in.  Zayn and Bailey are blushing as Bailey shakes her head, "No" she says, "just friends."

Phew, I think willing her and Zayn to stay that way. I got really happy when she said "just friends" but Zayn on the other hand looks upset. He turns to leave the room but Bailey grabs his arm.

"Zayn," she says quietly enough for only them (and me as I'm so close to them) to hear. "Please, I didn't mean it like that. I was just-"

"Whatever Bailey." Zayn says, cutting her off. Wow, he must be really mad. He cut her off and called her "Bailey" instead of "love". "I'm just gonna go for a run." He walks out and heads upstairs to change.

Bailey turns around, hurt obvious in her face. I wish I could just run to her, and just give her a hug. But I can't. It would just mess things up between us even more.

"Where is he going?" I ask Bailey shyly, pretending I didn't hear the whole conversation they just had. I figure it won't hurt to try and patch things up with Baily a little bit. (Even though she totally abandoned me)

"Um....he's going running." Bailey looks surprised that I'm talking to her. "But....um....where will he go? Won't the...um...fans or paparazzi see him?" She asks, looking a little calmer but still cautious.

"Uh Bails," I wince and she does too. I shouldn't have used her old nickname. Well, no taking it back now. "How much of the house have you seen?"

"Um...your bedrooms, the TV room, and the kitchen. Is there a lot more?" She asks, even calmer then before.

I smile. "Girl, you ain't seen nothing yet!"

She laughs nervously. "Will you show me?"

 Laughing is a good sign, right? I ask myself. "Sure, let me go ask Sarah and Harry if they want to come too. I don't think Sarah's seen much either."

Harry and Sarah agree. They follow me down the hall, with Bailey beside me.
