Chapter 13 - "We Need to Talk."

BAILEY'S POV

Sarah pokes Lila, who pretends she's paying attention to the story, and then continues in her speech about how perfect Harry is, how she's nervous to tell the fans but she hopes they will accept her as Harry's girlfriend, and so on...

I can tell that everyone in the room is bored to death, so I'm debating whether to interrupt Sarah and change the subject or not, but as I finally open my mouth, a doctor walks into the room, my mum walking closely behind him.

"Excuse me, Ms. Allovan, I'd like to talk to you. Alone, so if all of you could just excuse us for a second." He motions us toward the door and we all obediently file out, Niall closing the door behind him.

"Bailey!" My mum grabs me, pulling me into a giant bear hug and giving me a kiss on the cheek. "How was the concert? And you met the boys backstage? How was their flat? And Niall? How was it to see him after so long?!"

I laugh. "Uh Mum, he's right there in case you haven't noticed!" I say, pointing over at Niall, Harry, and Sarah standing a few feet away, trying to give us space.

Mum runs over, practically launching herself at Niall. "Niall James Horan, its been so long! How are you? How is your Mum? I haven't talked to her in a while, did she change her number?"

Niall smiles at my Mum, "She's fantastic, Mrs. Allovan. She did have to change her number, some fans found it, but I'll be sure to give it to you!"

They continue to talk, so Harry and Sarah wander over to me and we chat, Sarah and I tell him about our other friends and I tell him embarrassing things Sarah has done, causing her to blush bright red.


LILA'S POV

"Ms. Allovan, we need to talk. While your x-ray was being taken, your nurse noticed that there were some.. bruises along your leg. When you add that to your broken leg, it seems suspicious, I'm sure you understand where we're coming from, but we just need to clarify this, and it could be completely wrong, but has anyone hurt you or harmed you at all in any way? Has anyone abused you at all, Ms. Allovan, it's completely alright to tell me, no one will hurt you anymore."

I'm about to deny his claims, but I just can't. I'm so sick of this, this lying and constantly being in pain and just horrible insults and the pain... I can't take it anymore.

"It's over. Okay, we're over, I'm not going to let him hurt me anymore. Please just leave me alone. I'm fine." I can't stop rambling, I just need him to leave. I can't take any of it. I'm so completely done.

Doctor Walten looks at me. I can see that look in his eyes, you know, the 'you shouldn't be making a decision like this, it's a mistake, you have no idea what you're doing' look, but I shrug it off.

"Can I leave now?" I know I sound rude, but I can't deal with this right now. I'll tell Mum later, I'll figure something out, I always do.

I manage to get released from the hospital, Dr. Walten sending me disappointed looks every minute. Seriously, this is my problem, not his. He can get over it.

"Lila, are you okay?" Bailey says quietly. I think she can sense that I'm upset, but trying to cover it up as best I can.

"Yes." I whisper back. "But I have something to tell you later."

She nods and loops her arm into mine and we walk together, just like old times. :)

And sorry if lila is confusing you, shes really emotional but she like keeps them inside and its kind of confusing sometimes. And her bf was abusing her too, so shes kind of guarded about stuff, and she loves/hates him at the same time.
