Cosplaying at a Convention (Castiel x Reader)

So I saw this video on YouTube and was immediately inspired! "Creepy Cas," as named by Misha, is cosplayed by Matt (aka vanconcastiel via tumblr). His impersonation of Castiel was so spot on and awesome that I had to make a story about this, basically where Cas meets Matt and then they have to "battle to the death" at a convention. And in the story, Misha's role in the video will just be replaced by a random judge.

Other than that, let's get started!

You had taken the three guys to a Supernatural convention, because why not? You thought that maybe you could trick one of them into entering a cosplay contest because (1) they would totally win and (2) you could then buy stuff from the Supernatural shop that was set up there. You could buy stuff from there anyway, but it was so expensive that you knew that winning a cosplay contest would definitely help with the money.  However, neither of the Winchesters wanted to compete, and you absolutely refused because of stage fright, which you had obtained from a rather embarrassing moment while in front of a large crowd.  You shuddered at the thought.

You then glanced at Castiel, who was currently watching a female Dean and male Castiel make out with a confused face. His eyes were squinted and his head was tilt slightly, and then your mind seemed to click. You had a brilliant idea.

You turned to Dean and Sam as you whispered, "I bet you twenty bucks, each, that I can persuade Castiel into competing in a contest and that he'll win."

The brothers thought for a moment before they both smirked and nodded. "You're on," Dean spoke for the both of them.

You smirked and nodded to the both of them before turning around and walking to the confused angel. When he looked up at you, you sent him a smile and sat next to him.

"I don't understand. Why are there people dressed up as Dean, Sam, you, and I? Why are Dean and I kissing?" Castiel questioned as he glanced back at the couple before turning to face you.

You giggled. "I'll explain it to you later. Anyway, I need to ask you for a favor, Cas."

You now had the angel's full attention. He showed this by sitting up straighter and giving you his undivided attention. He was always so willing to do anything you asked him, so why would this time be any different?

"What is it you need?" Castiel asked.

You sent him a sweet smile as you replied, "Could you enter into a cosplay contest?"

"Um," Castiel squinted his eyes in confusion.  "I guess–"

"Great!" you squealed and hugged the angel.  He was startled at first but slowly wrapped his arms around you.

When you two pulled away he asked, "What do I have to do?"

You shrugged.  "Just go stand up on that stage and be yourself."  That's when you heard an announcer speak into the microphone, saying that all Castiel cosplayers that wanted to compete should begin to gather on the stage.  You turned to Castiel with glimmering eyes.  "It's time!  Come on!  Let's go!"

You clutched onto Castiel's sleeve and practically dragged him until you were standing next to the steps that led up the stage.  You pushed the confused angel up onto the stage as you called out, "Good luck!"
