"Daddyyyyyy! I don' wan' you to go!" you whined between hiccupy cries as tears rolled down your face.
Sam's heart broke at the sight of his four year old sobbing for him. He almost gave in to your pleas for him to stay, but he knew that you would survive a few hours without him. Besides, Dean would be watching you...
Yeah, maybe this wasn't such a good idea...
Sam crouched down to your height and wrapped you in his arms. "I'll only be gone for a few hours," he soothed. "I'll be back before you know it. Besides, Uncle Dean promised that you and him would have fun together until I get back."
Lord help this child.
You sniffled and buried your face into your father's neck, inhaling deeply as the familiar scent of pine and gun powder soothed you. You slowly stopped shaking and hesitantly released Sam, and you wiped your tears away in hopes of showing him that you were a big girl.
Sam smiled and leaned forward to press a light kiss to your forehead. "That's my girl. Behave for Uncle Dean while I'm gone, okay?"
You nodded as you mumbled, "Okay, Daddy."
Dean took a few tentative steps until he reached your side before sitting down next to you. You immediately climbed into his lap and watched as your dad walked up the stairs of the bunker before leaving through the door. You let out a sad sigh and sagged against your uncle.
"Hey, cheer up, kiddo! I'm not that boring, am I?" Dean asked as he began to tickle your sides.
You burst into a fit of giggles and began to struggle in his grasp. "S-sto-hahahaha-op! Nooooooo!" you laughed, flailing your arms and legs.
Dean finally relented and slowly stopped his tickling session. You were left panting and giggling. Your uncle grinned and asked, "You good now?" You smiled as well and nodded. "Good. Now, how about we color some (f/animals), hm?"
