THE ANNOUNCEMENT PART 2 (CEREMONY)

I looked over to see a nervous Jana standing next to a beaming Nigel. She walked over to me on the verge of tears.

"Help! I have nothing to wear, I have no idea how to be a good Luna and I wasnt prepared to make this announcement. I think I already love my mate but there is no way we are gonna mate this soon but I do want him to mark me but I don't know if he's doing this because wants to or because he has to I mean who would want to be mated to someone like me?" she said forgetting to breath and about to burst into tears.

She was turning 19 soon and she hadn't shifted because her dad was human and there was no telling if she carried the wolf gene or would be fully human.

"Look its okay Nigel wouldn't care if you turned out to be human. I see the way he looks at you he loves you" I told her truthfully.

Although Nigel had reassured her earlier it didn't matter to him she still had trouble accepting that he truly meant it.

"What if he changes his mind and rejects me?" she asked with a shaky voice.

If her wolf did not surface by her 20th birthday it was hopeless.

"Calm down deep breaths he won't. I know Nigel he has waited his whole life to find his mate and trust me you are more than he could ever ask for" I told her while giving her a reassuring hug.

"As for something wear I have the percfect outfit. I also think you should let him mark you. It would put his wolf at ease. But you should think about it first its your decision. As for mating I'm sure he will give you all the time you need. Now what time is the announcement?" I asked trying to make sure we had enough time.

"At seven" she said beaming.

The ceremony was going to take place in the backyard of the pack house where I lived. We normally hosted events there. The yard was so big three football stadiums could fit in it.

"Perfect plenty of time its only two we can eat first" I said looking at my mate accussingly. He was looking at me with admiration.

"What?" I asked confused by his behavior.

"Your going to make a perfect luna" he said with a genuine smile. My wolf swelled with pride at his words.

"Just order us some food" I said returning the smile.

"Sure what do you guys want?"

"Chinese" we both said at the same time.

After getting Nigels order and ordering the food I sugessted we watch a movie. Just when I was about to put in Fast in the Furious 6, which was something we could all agree on, I heard my brothers voice.

"Ky get your ass up here" he yelled down the stairs. I walked up the stairs knowing what he wanted.

I walked into his room and he stood there arms crossed looking like he was about to shift.

"Who is your mate and what the hell is this I hear about you being laid on a table?" he said in a dangerously low voice.

Nigel was lucky he was mated to my best friend otherwise I would have killed him.

"Its Colby Alpha of the Black Silverlight Moon Pack and he came on a little strong but its okay" I told him laying a hand one his sholder to smooth him.

"Where is he? I want to talk to him" he said looking slighly calmer but not calm enough for my liking.

"Downstairs" I said slightly nervous. He walked past me going down the stairs so fast I didn't have a chance to protest. I ran down behind him only to see him grab Colby by the throat.
