THE PUNISHMENT

KYLA'S POV

We left Nigel and Jana and headed back home. The ride was quite but it was a comfortable silence.

When we arrived Cole's parents were there waiting on us. His mom ran and embraced me and his Dad told me how glad he was that his daughter was okay. It warmed my heart to hear him call me his daughter.

After we chated with them a little longer we went to our house. I decided to go up to our room and relax wanting to cuddle with Cole but he said he had some paper work to do.

I tried to watch tv but my mind keep wondering back to Jana and Nigel and what would have happened if the guys didn't show up when they did. I decided to go to Cole's office. I needed to clear my head and maybe I wouldn't be so stressed if I were around him.

He was sitting in his chair with his head in his hands. He was stressed too and I didn't like it. He looked up at me and for the first time I saw everything he had been trying to hide. He was worried for our friends, angry about what could have been if they hadn't got there in time, frustrated from all the work he still had to do and those were just the emotions displayed on the surface.

I walked over and sat on his lap. He pulled me close and I leaned into him. "I thought you would have dosed off by now baby" he said inhaling my scent.

"I couldn't sleep if I wanted to. My mind won't let me rest. Besides I think I got enough sleep in that hospital bed" I told him. He nodded in understanding.

"You shouldn't worry its not healthy for you or the baby"

"Baby? What baby?"

"My son growing inside you" he said rubbing my belly. Cole was seriously delusional if he thought I was pregnant.

I turned and straddled him taking his face in my hands. "Baby im not pregnant"

"Yes you are. I was going to wait until Jana recovered to tell you but I don't know when that will be and I want take every precaution. I knew the same night and the doctor confirmed it while you were out" 

I couldn't believe it. I pulled up my shirt and ran a hand over my belly. Sure enough there was a slight bump there that I hadn't really noticed. I thought I was bloated or gained some weight but not pregnant.

Cole sat me on the desk and placed a kiss where my hand had been. I smiled knowing that he would make a great father. He was smiling and so was I.

"So your happy?" I asked grinning. "Are you kidding im estatic. You mean everything to me Lala and you carrying my pup is the best thing that ever happened to me only second to meeting you. I just did'nt know how you would feel with everything going on I didnt want to stress you out further"

"Im happy too baby and I know its a lot going on but we can do this. You're going to be a great Daddy"

"You're going to be great Mommy. I have to admit I was upset you went against my orders though. But I was also proud you wanted to protect your friend. lts what makes you a great Luna. I should punish you none the less"

I instantly got a little wet thinking about how he could punish me. Suddenly I was very hot. My skin felt like it was on fire and I wanted to jump Cole.

"Mmmm damn baby I can smell you. You're in heat" he picked me up and ran to our room. Next thing I knew he was closing the door with his foot and I was laid on the bed.
