BACK TO NORMALCY

NIGELS POV

What she said took my breath away. She wanted to mate with me. My sweet innocent Jana. I couldn't believe it. I was caught between mating here then and there and doing a happy dance.

"You sure love?" I asked wanting to hear her say it again.

"Yes. We both know I will be going into heat soon and I want you to know it has nothing to do with that. No out of control hormones, just me. I really wanted to be with you Nile. In every way possible"

I couldn't help but kiss her after that. I was so happy that I had the honor of being the first man she ever wanted to give herself to. As much as I wanted her in that moment I knew I had to make it special for her and for me. No other woman would ever compare to her or make me feel the way she could. She deserved better than me taking her in some hospital bed.

"I feel like the luckiest man alive and its all because of you. I want you so much right now but I know you want your first time to be special and I'm going make that happen. I love you more than words could say. So please grant me the honor of doing this the right way. Let me make it something you will never forget"

Her eyes glistened and she nodded her head eagerly. I smiled at her and for a while we laid there silent as I held her close.

"Nile I was wondering if I could see Kyla. I bet she's been worried" she said breaking the silence.

"Whatever you want love. I'll call her and she if she can come over. I need to tell her Cole your awake anyway"

KYLA'S POV

I woke up sore but on top of the world. My mate was amazing. I was wrapped in his arms and I had never felt safer or more loved. I watched him sleep with a smile on his face. I traced the online of his features, he was perfect.

"Morning baby" he said with a husky voice and the most breathtaking smile. His eyes were the brightest hazel I had ever seen them.

"Morning honey" I said smiling back at him.

"How is Daddy's big boy today?" he said rubbing my belly.

"He's fine Cole" I said laughing. I could definitely get used to this.

I was about to climb out if bed and head to the shower when my phone rang. I grabbed it off the nightstand and looked at the screen, it was Nigel.

"Hello" I answered.

"Ky it's me"

"I know. Is everything okay? " I asked worried.

"Yes. Better than okay actually. Jana' s up and she shifted" he said excitedly.

"O my goodness I'm on my way"

I hung up and jumped of bed like the house was on fire ignoring the slight pain in my core from last night's events. I ran into the shower and did my business as fast as I could.

Cole was smiling at me when I cane out. Apparently he heard the conversation as well. He went to take his shower and I threw on a sundress and some flipflops trying to dress as quickly as possible.

Cole walked out with a towel around his waist and I had to fight the urge to jump him.

I went and brushed my teeth and he came in to do the same wearing some jean shorts and nice shirt. Two minutes later we were out the door.

"Cole can't you drive any faster" I said minutes later once we were on the main road.

"Babe I'm already going eighty in a forty five" he said laughing at my anxiousness.

Seven minutes later we were finally there. I practically jumped out of the car.

I rushed through the doors of the packhouse and to the third floor where patients were kept. No one bothered to stop me as I ran straight to her room.

I opened the door and there she was sitting up with a smile on her face.

"Hey Ky"

"Jana" I said running to embrace her.

"O my goodness how are you? I was so worried" I said squeezing her tightly like she would disappear.

"Ky can't breathe" she said gasping for air.

"Sorry" I said sheepishly. She just laughed.

"I'm fine a little tired from shifting but I'm fine" she explained.

"We're glad your okay" Cole sincerely and I agreed.

"Thanks" she said happily.

"Sure Ky just pretend I'm not here" Nigel said smirking. He had been in the back if the room and I had forgotten all about him.

"I'm sorry Nigel I forgot about you. On second thought no I'm not I didn't come to see you anyway" I said playfully.

"You are so lucky I'm not your Alpha anymore or you would pay for that" he teased.

"Yeah whatever " I said rolling my eyes smiling.

"Really though how are you Nigel?" I asked serious this time.

"Perfect now that the love of my life has come back to me" he said not taking his eyes off Jana.

She blushed and I held back and awe. They were so cute.

"We have some news" Cole said grinning. I knew he was dying to tell everyone about the baby.

"What?" Nigel and Jana both said together.

"Lala here is pregnant"

Jana squealed looked shocked and happy as they looked from one of us to the other.

"I'm so happy for you guys" Jana said almost in tears.

"Congratulations man" Nigel said as him and Cole did some bro hug thing.

"O my gosh we have so much to do. There's the baby shower to plan, we have to shop. Have you even told your parents yet?" Jana said frantically.

"Relax I know it's a lot but we can get it done. No we haven't told them yet but we're getting them all together this afternoon" I told her.

"She's right you know. You really should relax and save your energy your going to need it" Nigel whispered in her ear even though we could all hear.

She turned a fierce shade of red and I raised an eyebrow at her accussingly.

"Is there something you need to tell me?" I asked her.

"Wellll" she said shyly.

"You know what call me later. Nigel go easy on her" I said dragging laughingly Cole with me.
