Chapter 2

Melanie's POV

The boys and I finally got to school. I was shaking, I didn't want to be here, new school, there is going to be a lot of bully's.

I got out of the car and we all said our goodbyes and went different ways. I was walking to the principals office and I could hear people snickering behind me.

When I finally got to the principals office he greeted me with a firm handshake

"You must be Melanie" he cheerfully asked whilst pointing at the chair meaning for me to sit on it

"Yeah" I say as I sit in the chair allocated for me

"Okay, here is your timetable, the schools details. Hope you have an excellent day here today" he replied handing me some sheets

"Thanks" I sarcastically replied as I grabbed the work and left.

My timetable is: (A/N: I'm am Australian so my timetable or schedule whatever you call it is probs different)
1) Math
Morning tea
2) History
3) English
Lunch
4) Science

I started to walk to my math class as someone grabbed my wrist and pulled me to the side, Before I could react the person turned me around revealing a grinning Calum

"Hey, show us your classes" he smirked letting go and holding a hand out signalising my to put my taime table in

"Calum I have to go to class so hurry up" I replied handing over the sheet

"Oh sweet we have math and English together, I think you and Luke have history and you, ashton and Michael have science" he smiled walking to our math class as I followed sheepishly behind him

"So how are the other people here" I anxiously asked grabbing my timetable out of his hands.

"There alright. Couple of off ones  but all that matters in the end is that you have me, Luke, Ashton and Mikey" He answered opening the classroom door and holding it opened till I walked in

"Ah students this is Melanie, she's new. I see you've already met Calum" the teacher said

"Yes I have" I awkwardly replied taking the seat next to Calum

"Hey Melanie I'm Jake" the boy in front of me smiled

"Um hi" I replied focused on my work

As we were doing our work all the other students were snickering and laughing, pointing towards me. I started shaking and getting nervous then Calum put his hand on my thigh and I felt by cheeks go red

"What are you doing" I asked pointing to his hand on my thigh

"Oh sorry, you seemed scared and I wanted you to know I was here" he replied with a wink

"Oh um, okay" I nervously chuckled and went back to my work

The whole lesson I couldn't stop thinking about that 3 minutes his hand was on my leg, it was awkward yet comforting.

Finally maths was over and me and Calum left class as Bianca started to call me

"Hey, how's school, met any hot boys, made any new friends" Bianca asked over the phone and I laughed.

"Yes these 4 stupid boys" I laughed glaring at Calum with a smile as he tilted his head in confusion

"Wait as friends or you think their hot" she questioned

"Both" I smirked "I have to go Bianca bye" I smiled

"Ugh bye talk to you later" she sighed and ended
