Chapter 4

Melanie's POV

I woke up in an unfamiliar bed with an arm draped around me and boys yelling, I slowly opened one eye to see Michael and Ashton playing Luke's x-box and Calum looking really upset on a bean bag chair, I tried to get out from underneath Luke's arm but he pulled me closer.

"Sleeping beauty is awake" Ashton announced as everyone looked at me

Calum just stared down with the sad look still glued on his face

"Yeah yeah shut up" I groaned attempting to get out of his bear grip

"Well, how was your sleep...with Luke" Michael chuckled and Ashton did too, until Calum stormed out of the room angrily

"What's with him" I asked trying to get out of Luke's grip once again

"I don't know, ever since we came in here he has been all upset and shit but won't tell us why" Ashton explained

"Luke stop let me go" I whimpered and tried to push him off of me

"Mm stop it" he mumbled and pulled me even closer

"Wake up loser" Michael said as he come over and punched Luke on the arm

"Ow okay" he whimpered rolling on his back and I quickly sat up

"I'll go talk to Calum" I said as I quickly got up and rushed out of the room.

I found him sitting on the couch so I walked over, sat beside him and put a hand on his shoulder

"Cal, you okay?"

"No but I'll be fine"

"No tell me cal, I'm here for you" I smiled

"If I told you, you would-just don't worry" he said getting off the couch and walking to the bathroom

what's up with him. I walked back to the boys room and they were all playing Fifa.

"Guys I think I'm gonna go and get ready for the day, I'll text you later" I said as I grabbed all my stuff and left.

When I got home I had a shower and freshened up, I put on my high waisted denim shorts and a superman crop top with my black and white converse.

When I went downstairs my mother wasn't home, so I texted the guys to come over, it was a Saturday so we didn't have school.

After 20 minutes they finally arrived

"What took you guys so long" I asked sitting on the couch In-between Luke and Calum, there was a lot of tension between them

"Nothing, we were just talking" Luke replied sending Calum an aggressive glare and Calum returned it back

"Okay, um you guys want pizza?" I asked getting up and walking to the phone

"Omg Melanie is that a question?" Michael yelled from the lounge room to the kitchen where i was

"Alright, if you guys wanna watch TV be my guest, Calum can you come here please" I asked

After I called dominoes and the boys were watching TV I pulled Calum outside

"Why are you and Luke so tense?" I asked

"It's nothing don't worry" he huffed and turned away

"Really? Didn't seem like nothing"

"It was nothing Mel so back off" Calum argued and I walked back a little bit "sorry Mel I'm just not in the mood today"

"It's okay Cal" I smiled
